TAFE NSW Waratah Cup Semi-Final Venues announced
Football NSW has released details of the 2019 TAFE NSW Semi-Final Waratah Cup matches that will feature the Marconi Stallions taking on Manly United while Sydney United 58 entertain St George FC both matches scheduled for Wednesday 3rd July.
Hensley Athletic Field will be the venue where the all National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s battle will take place as the Stallions host Manly United. Marconi will be desperate for victory considering their indifferent form in the NPL NSW Men’s competition while Manly, who have featured in the Cup Final in the past few seasons, will be wanting to add the prestigious Waratah Cup to its trophy cabinet.
The other semi-final will feature Sydney United 58 taking on National Premier Leagues 2 NSW Men’s side St George FC at the Sydney United Sports Centre. This match is indicating that the home side should be too strong for their NPL 2 opponents but beware of the ‘Cupset’ as the Saints hope they can create history by reaching the Waratah Cup Final on Sunday 14th July.
