Football has a way of touching many people in many ways, and historic Inner West football club, Dulwich Hill FC, have once again found yet another way of supporting a very worthwhile cause with a fantastic initiative that commenced two years ago.

Dulwich Hill FC compete in the National Premier Leagues 3 NSW Men’s competition, and on Saturday, July 20, they welcome local neighbours, Stanmore Hawks to Arlington Oval for a Round 20 fixture.

Dulwich Hill FC have once again chosen to devote the day to supporting the McGrath Foundation, a charity which offers support and assistance to individuals experiencing breast cancer, as well as their families.

It is a fantastic initiative, and one that the entire football community should and could support in any number of ways.

Dulwich Hill will put aside their usual playing strips, and wear a specially made pink playing strip, from the Under 13s fixture right through to the 1st Grade fixture which will kick off at 7pm.

Additionally, it will be quite simple to donate funds to the charity – you can click on the following link;

The day will be celebrated with a carnival atmosphere, with plenty of food and drink available throughout the day.

There are always some very giving and hardworking people behind initiatives such as these, and this is no different.

The entire Dulwich Hill committee should be congratulated for agreeing to and endorsing such a special event in support of a cause that has touched many Australians.

Make the effort to get down to one of the country’s most iconic venues, Arlington Oval, in the inner west suburb of Dulwich Hill, to watch a quality National Premier Leagues 3 NSW Men’s game between Dulwich Hill and Stanmore Hawks, and show your support to one of the most recognised and respected charity organisations in Australia, the McGrath Foundation.
