Football NSW Member Protection News Update
Football NSW has updated information on a number of Member Protection topics including SHOOSH for Kids, Child Safe Standards, Play by the Rules as well MPIO Workshops.

Child Safe Standards
We’re set to see changes in the child safeguarding area during 2020, including progress on Child Safe Standards in NSW. In preparation, the FFA is working with FNSW and other member federations to develop National Safeguarding Guidelines and easy to adopt templates and education resources to assist clubs further in this area. Although it may be a while before the Standards are announced, to get ahead a Child Safe Standards factsheet was recently released by the NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian to provide sport clubs with an outline of each of the Standards.
Play by the Rules (PBTR) – online training
PBTR now offers 10 free courses in child protection, harassment, complaints, member protection, integrity, clean sport, inclusive coaching and conduct at kids sport. details here>>
