Australian Schoolboys Return from Successful Tours
Two Australian Schoolboys squads returned last week from tours of the United Kingdom and Ireland.
The players learnt a great deal about what overseas football is about, having to play against strong opposition in a variety of weather conditions.
The 18 years squad won three games and drew four, losing only two. Their most impressive performance was against a very strong England Schools team, a game which they deserved to win.
The 16 years squad won five of their nine games, at one stage playing games on three successive days.
