After committing to unprecedented media coverage of the National Premier Leagues NSW men’s competition, comes the announcement from Football NSW that they will up the ante in providing expert commentary for all six top tier NPL NSW women’s live broadcasts each week as well as the ‘Match of the Round’ in the NPL 2 NSW Men’s competition.

Continuing on with the theme of providing as much live football content as possible, the women’s coverage is set to take centre stage when their season kicks off this weekend with each match live-streamed with commentary. In addition, Saturday’s Western Sydney Wanderers v Hills United fixture is the selected NPL 2 NSW “Match of the Round” and will also be broadcast live with commentary.

Well known women’s football reporter, Nikola Pozder, will headline the reviews, previews and features for Australia’s top tier NPL women’s competition and will also once again feature in match-day commentary.

Keep an eye out for the round previews and reviews on a weekly basis as well as the detailed match reports that will take place and shared on our official NPL NSW Women’s website as well as shared onto our social medial channels namely the NPL NSW Facebook page and NPL NSW Twitter page (@NPLNSW).

Joining Pozder on the microphone will be David McDonald, Jonathan Farr, Jack Clifton, Alex Molchanoff, Alexander Harris, Tomas Phillips and our first ever Football NSW female commentator in Samantha Lewis.

Football NSW will broadcast each and every match live to your lounge room, laptop, television, smartphone, you name it, we got you in what will be an exciting 2020 NPL NSW Women’s competition meaning 138 matches will be covered.

The Men’s 2 competition has also received an upgrade with expert NPL journalist Eric Subijano providing all the previews, reviews and features as well as assisting designated head commentator Peter Prior calling weekly ‘Match of the Round’ games on the golden microphone.

Media and website coverage will be aplenty in our other NPL competitions with Samuel Greco Schwarz headlining Men’s 3, Justin Smith taking charge of Men’s 4 while Justin Davies will be the primary reporter for the Women’s 2 competition.

Keep an eye out also for the amazing snaps and photo galleries our official Football NSW photographers Nigel Owen, Jeremy Ng, Jeff Walsh, George Loupis, Sebastian Giunta and Damian Briggs will be providing on a week to week basis.

Football NSW CEO Stuart Hodge was buoyed by the extra coverage the women’s and men’s 2 competition was set to have.

“Once I again I am proud to say that Football NSW is again leading the way in ensuring our female footballers and top tier competition gets the coverage it thoroughly deserves.

“I am thrilled to see the high level of media promotion and respect being shown towards what essentially is one of the best NPL Women’s competitions in Australia which features not only a number of our rising youngsters and seasoned campaigners but some marquee W-League footballers running around.

“It’s fantastic to also witness the growing media promotion of our other NPL competitions showcasing how popular football is in our state.”
