Albury-Wodonga Football Association in the Running for Inside Sports Clubbies Association of the Year

Albury-Wodonga Football Association (AWFA) is in the running to be awarded Australia’s best sporting association after a nomination from a member club.
After hundreds of nominations from across the country, AWFA is now in the top four of the Inside Sport – Clubbies 2020 Best Sports Association Award.
This achievement is due to the hard work of the 2019 Executive Committee together with the tireless work behind the scenes of the many volunteers in the clubs and association that have resulted in a successful season.
AWFA have seen growth in MiniRoos and all abilities, as well as a higher level of awareness about female participation and they are working hard to grow that in the region.
To take out this award is not only recognition of the efforts of Albury-Wodonga Football Association but also recognition of Football Associations Australia wide and the tireless work they all do, whether it be recognised or not.
