Around The Grounds @ King Mickey Park

Football NSW made the trek down South as avid photographer Sebastian Giunta captured King Mickey Park, home to the Warilla Wanderers who play in the Football South Coast Association for today’s ‘Around the Grounds’ installment.

This facility is a real treat for those who love a good local football pitch.

Nestled in between residential and bushland area, King Mickey Park comes equipped with lighting, canteen and seating for those weekend matches encapsulating that local football feel especially down ‘South.

A club founded in 1967, the Warilla Wanderers are a proud club that participate in the always tough Football South Coast competition – the venue itself has hosted many memorable matches and will no doubt be blessed with many more with the football season hopefully recommencing shortly following the lockdown imposed on the sport due to COVID-19 since March this year.
