VALE – Janine Ligato

Football NSW was saddened to hear the news of the unfortunate passing of Gladesville Ravens’ heroic and passionate administrator Janine Ligato after a very long battle with illness.

Janine was a tireless volunteer at Gladesville Ravens for over 14 years, managing teams, heading up committees, driving new initiatives through local councils, director of women’s football and was a current board member.

Janine was an integral part of the club’s success on the field, but more importantly provided a safe and enjoyable place for girls to grow and improve.

Her passion and drive was infectious and unequaled and she has left a huge hole that will be impossible to fill.

Football NSW and the entire family would like to pass on its deepest condolences to the Ligato family, may she rest in heavenly peace.
