Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Kinder Kick-Off at the Bright Achievers Early Learning Centre, a program introduced by Football NSW in 2019 to children at a younger age in order to promote lifelong engagement with physical activity with football concluded, much to the satisfaction of the many participants who took part in the 2020 journey.

Even though COVID-19 did play a toll on the sport briefly, communication between Football NSW and Bright Achievers Early Learning Centre Manager Nameeta Roy continued positively as the successful Kinder Kick-Off MiniRoos Program recommenced much to the delight of the young aspiring football stars.

“The football program run by Football NSW has been awesome for our pre-school children,” said Nameeta.

“The fundamental movement skills they have learnt during the training sessions has  helped them expand their repertoire of gross motor skills.

“The coaches were amazing, giving individual attention to each child and challenging children with skills to develop teamwork and perseverance.

“We are going to miss our football sessions, but this program has encouraged families to enrol their children into the Football program for young children.

“A big thank you to the enthusiastic coaches who helped make Football popular with our children.”
