Ambitious club Mt Druitt Town Rangers have further strengthened for the 2022 season after the announcement of its Women’s squads set to compete in Football NSW’s League One competition.

A club built on inclusion; a club known for its long proud history has appointed the services of Neil Ross who will take charge of the Senior Women’s side as well as his Technical Director responsibilities.

“Neil’s appointment was an easy choice,” said Rangers Director of Football Stewart Montgomery who had canvassed several high-quality candidates for the role.

“Firstly, he’s a passionate Football person, a respected coach and mentor in the Women’s program, holder of a B-License and sitting his A-License, but most importantly his football philosophy and visions aligns with Rangers.

“We are delighted and excited with the progress Neil and his team have made in preparing the Women’s and Girl’s teams for 2022. A real challenge in ‘lockdown’. They have created a real vibe, and everyone is onboard, which is great.”

Prior to joining Rangers for Season 2021, Neil built his reputation and respect over many years across local and Football NSW NPL Women’s programmes, a clear highlight on his CV was leading a club through to promotion of the State’s top tier of Women’s football.

Something Neil and all at Rangers are keen to emulate in the coming seasons.
