Community sport recovery package
The NSW Government has announced a $25 million funding boost for the sport and recreation sector as part of the COVID-19 Economic Recovery Strategy.
The Sport and Recreation Recovery and Community Rebuild Package provides financial support, assistance and participation opportunities, particularly in areas hardest hit by the COVID lockdown.
The package includes:
- Community Sport Recovery Package
- Cross Border Sport Fund
- Outdoor Active Recreation Marketing Support Fund
- Participation initiatives focused on south-western Sydney and regional NSW
- Regional athlete pathway support
