Football NSW’s Metro White Under 15’s have taken out the 2022 National Youth Championships following a 3-1 victory over Queensland White at C.ex Coffs International Stadium in Coffs Harbour.

Trevor Fattore’s squad were in red-hot form all throughout the tournament and proved they were the best in this category as Oliver Steinerts, Noah Mathie and a penalty from Junior Conde did the damage defeating the Queenslanders.

” I am incredibly proud of the players and coaches,” said Football NSW’s Technical Director.

“They were the stand out team from start to finish.

“They were pooled in the toughest group and proved if you want be the best you have to play the best and they did that and in style.

“Every player got their chance and they stood up when it really mattered.

“It’s now time to reflect and keep adding the layers to ensure we continue to grow and develop individually and collectively.

“Sincere thanks to the parents and guardians that travelled their support was truly appreciated.

“Andrew Fearnley and Phil Myall were immense in ensuring the week ran like clockwork on and off the field also.”

Football NSW would like to congratulate the boys as well as all our other squads in putting a fine display throughout the tournament.
