The 2022 National Talent Challenge (NTC) for the Under 18 Girls is in full swing at the AIS following its second day of competition as Football NSW’s Metro and Regional sides have gone through its paces in Canberra.

The NSW Metro side has thus far won two of its three matches defeating Western Australia and NSW Regional but going down to Queensland.

The NSW Regional side has had it a little tougher having lost all three matches but the girls have thoroughly enjoyed the competition which wraps up on the 7th of October.

The National Talent Challenge (NTC) offers Under 18 Girls the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of Football Australia and Australian National Team selectors.

Both teams are hoping that team members will do enough to impress selectors with the hope of winning a coveted Green and Gold call-up.

This tournament isn’t just about the players.

The coaching staff of both squads are also using this as a great opportunity to further enhance and develop their experiences and skills at a national level.
