Goulburn hosts successful Football NSW Regional SAP Gala Day

Cookbundoon Sporting Complex in Goulburn recently hosted a successful Football NSW Regional SAP Gala Day. 

Teams from Southern NSW and Western NSW SAP as well as Albury-Wodonga FA, Football Wagga Wagga, Macarthur Rams, Gungahlin United, Belconnen United, South East Phoenix, Bathurst FA and Southern Tablelands FA all participated in what was a great weekend of football action.

All games were played in a small-sided formats across the Under 9’s right through to the 12’s in the Boys category and Under 10 and 12’s in the Girls.

“This was a great opportunity for regional teams to play against each other in small-sided football, to assist in developing and challenging the players involved in regional clubs,” said Football NSW’s Development Manager Andrew Fearnley.

“There was plenty of good football on display which showcased some great talents from individual teams as well as witnessing some fantastic general play.

“Football NSW would like to thank the Southern Tablelands FA for hosting the day, and once again assisting in a positive football experience for all involved.”

Football NSW will be hosting another SAP Gala Day in Goulburn later this year.
