Final Waratah Cup Semi announced as APIA ready for Rangers
Current National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s table toppers APIA Leichhardt FC will be taking on fellow competition rivals Mt Druitt Town Rangers for a spot at this year’s 2023 Waratah Cup Final against Sydney United 58 when the pair meet next Wednesday 26th of July at Lambert Park.
With kick-off set for 7:45pm, the clash will feature Franco Parisi’s troops coming up against a Rangers outfit who are doing their best in fighting off relegation.
Competition form goes out the window when these knockout matches come to play so expect an exciting match which will be shown live and exclusive only on NPL.TV.
The pair have met twice this year with APIA winning both matches, the first in a 2-0 victory in Round 4 and the second only recently with a 2-1 win in Round 19.
The 2023 Waratah Cup Final date and venue will be announced in due course, but the winner of this tie will take on Sydney United 58 for the chance to lift one of Football NSW’s most historic pieces of silverware.
