2024 Australia Cup Entries Now Open
Club applications to participate in the Australia Cup 2024 NSW Preliminary rounds have officially opened.
In what will be a massive year for Australia’s most prestigious knockout Cup competition, Football NSW is formally inviting teams from across the football family to participate, with a chance to progress to the Australia Cup 2024 Final Rounds.
Football NSW grassroot clubs that enter the competition for the first time will also receive a 50% discount on their club entry fee.
As in previous years, entries are compulsory for all senior teams of the National Premier Leagues Men’s NSW, Football NSW League One Men’s and Football NSW League Two Men’s.
Football Australia has confirmed that Football NSW will have four (4) spots allocated to progress into the Australia Cup 2024 Round of 32.
Football NSW’s Competitions Coordinator Wade Giovenali was looking forward to seeing grassroots clubs from across NSW chasing their dreams of taking on some of the best teams in the country.
“With an added incentive for new clubs to get involved, we are hoping to see record breaking team numbers in this year’s instalment,” he said.
“We want to encourage any grassroots clubs who have previously considered participating to give it a go and register for the 2024 competition.”
As in previous years, a formal Draw will take place to announce the opening round of Cup matches with dates on this to be announced in due course.
Association clubs have until 12pm, Friday 16th February to get their entries in and are encouraged to get their entries in today.

- Round 2 – Saturday, 9 March / Sunday, 10 March 2024
- Round 3 – Tuesday, 19 March / Wednesday, 20 March / Thursday, 21 March 2024
- Round 4 – Tuesday, 9 April / Wednesday, 10 April / Thursday, 11 April 2024
- Round 5 – Tuesday, 23 April / Wednesday, 24 April 2024
- Round 6 – Tuesday, 7 May / Wednesday, 8 May / Thursday, 9 May 2024
- Round 7 – Tuesday, 21 May / Wednesday, 22 May / Thursday, 23 May 2024

NOTE: Sydney FC (NPL Men’s NSW), Bulls FC Academy (FNSW League One Men’s), Western Sydney Wanderers (NPL Men’s NSW), Central Coast Mariners (NPL Men’s NSW) and Newcastle Jets’ (FNSW League Two Men’s) are not eligible to participate in the Australia Cup 2024 NSW Preliminary Rounds.
