Football NSW recently hosted two successful Coach Development events at last weekend’s Bathurst Cup.

The first session held on Friday 2nd of February saw 25 coaches attend a Coaching Workshop headlined by course instructor Ivan Jolic.

Ivan’s workshop presentation was centred on the skill development of players across all age groups, with a focus on the importance of players first touch and body position. Coaches from across regional NSW in addition to coaches involved in the Bathurst Cup attended the Workshop.

While on Saturday 3rd of February with the Bathurst Cup in full swing, Regional Development Manager Andrew Fearnley ran a Talent ID Workshop for 22 Coaches involved who also assessed players live across the Under 14s, 15s and 16s.

“We provided the workshops last year for the first time, and given the success we have returned again this year as part of our coach development strategy to provide coaches with access to good quality workshops and also to provide greater access to CPD events for coaches,” Fearnley stated.

Football NSW will be running further workshops at the upcoming Proctor Park Challenge.
