Mt Druitt Town Rangers face off against SD Raiders FC down at Popondetta Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Town Rangers remain in third spot after their 4-0 win over Inter Lions at Majors Bay Reserve last Sunday afternoon.

They have justified the pre-season hype with their performances and can take another huge step on Sunday.

Jessica Anand and Alessia Perre have found the net back of the net as substitutes in recent weeks which gives the Town Rangers some punch late in games.

SD Raiders FC had their fixture washed out against Blacktown City FC last weekend after the rain in Sydney.

The visitors have been a tough team to break down which has helped keep them undefeated through six weeks in the League One Women’s competition.

Up front, Taina Almeida and Abuk Nyor have formed a strong partnership and will look to find the back of the net.

This game will be streamed live on the Football NSW YouTube with Dynamic Dave McDonald behind the microphone for a pulsating contest.

The Flame had their game against South East Phoenix FC washed out and will now play it midweek.

Sir Ian McLennan Park has seen 25 goals in four games this League One Women’s season so goals should be on the menu Saturday.

Paula Mitchell has become a constant threat for the Flame with four goals thus far this season and keen for more.

Central Coast Mariners had another week to stew on their first loss after their game against Camden was washed out.

They will be without some of their A League Women stars due to their elimination final against Melbourne Victory in Melbourne.

The Stallions hung in well before they were beaten 3-0 by St George FC at Ilinden Sports Centre last weekend.

They have shown in patches they can be a side that is tough to break down and frustrate their opposition.

Heading back to their home turf might offer them the boost to add some more points to their total.

Camden Tigers were one of the six sides that were washed out after the heavy rain in the state last week.

Coach Alex Prophet has got the team to gel quickly and he hopes they can get back in the winner’s circle.

Last time at home, Camden were comfortable winners and hope they can continue their strong home form.

Milena Visser led the line well for the Lions and she will need to be on target again to help her side on Sunday.

Bankstown City Lions FC suffered their first loss of the season in a 1-0 Match of the Round defeat to Hills United FC.

Ante Covic remained positive about his side despite the loss and they will be ready to fire on Sunday afternoon.

Lena Hennequinn has been an outlet for the Phoenix FC attack in recent weeks and she will hope to find the back of the net on Sunday.

Nepean FC were one of four games that were played and won 3-0 against Sutherland Strikers FC at Cook Park.

That win brought some relief for Joseph Ellul’s side who have worked out without reward through the first five weeks of the season.

Tamara Grieves scored the first goal in the win and she will hope to make it double delight down in Nowra.

Sutherland Strikers FC vs Blacktown City FC, Sunday 14 April, 3:30pm, Harrie Denning Centre

Sutherland Strikers FC face off against Blacktown City FC down at Harrie Denning Centre on Sunday afternoon.

The Strikers had a tough week with a pair of defeats to Inter Lions FC and Nepean FC in their games.

Despite the results, it was a big week for Priyanka Gakhar who started her first game after overcoming health issues.

KJ Schmidt was a livewire down the wing in both games and will keep the Blacktown City FC defence busy all afternoon.

Blacktown City FC had a weekend off after their game against SD Raiders FC was washed out last weekend.

Coming into this fixture off a good run, Blacktown City FC hope to continue their charge up the ladder.

Hills United FC vs St George FC, Sunday 14 April, 3;45pm, Bella Vista Public School

Rounding off the weekend is Hills United FC hosting St George FC at Bella Vista Public School on Sunday afternoon.

Hills United FC won 1-0 against Bankstown City Lions FC in the Match of the Round on Sunday night.

That moved them to the top of the League One Women’s ladder as they chase their first silverware as a club.

Chisato Tokoro came off the bench for her first minutes for the club and hopes to help propel them forward in the next few weeks.

St George FC put together a strong second half to win 3-0 against Marconi Stallions at home last weekend.

The Saints have recovered well from an opening day defeat to make it five games unbeaten and consolidate their top four spot.

The visitors took the spoils in the Grand Final last season and hope to continue their good run against Hills United FC on Sunday.
