The countdown to the 2024 Football NSW Futsal season is on with the action kicking off on Saturday, 14th September 2024.

Fourteen rounds will make up the regular season for the Futsal Premier League, Futsal Premier League 2, and the Futsal Development League, while the AWD Futsal League will consist of eight home and away rounds.

South Coast Taipans will be busily preparing for life in the top league as they won promotion to the Futsal Premier League while Macarthur Quake will be hoping to come back up following its relegation to the Futsal Premier League 2 competition.

There will also be a number of current Futsalroos on show for the 2024 season as the sport continues to grow and develop once more.

A double header weekend has been highlighted as a key change from 2023 with this taking place for round’s 3 and 4 on the 28th and 29th of September.

Following the end of the regular season, the Championship Series will feature as Semi-Finals have been set for the 14th of December while Grand Finals will follow on the 21st of December with The Centre and Valentine Sports Park locked in as venues.

Football NSW’s Futsal Competitions Coordinator Wade Giovenali was looking forward to what the new season was set to bring for the sport.

“The Football NSW Futsal Premier Leagues continue to boast the best quality futsal competitions in the country and this season promises to be one of the biggest yet,” he said.

“We’ve managed to push the Championship Series across two weekends allowing players to better prepare for their respective Grand Finals, but all eyes will be on the 14th of September when all our leagues kick-off.”
