Post match, Bankstown City Lions FC coach Ante Covic reflected on the result for his side at home:
“It was a good game, we controlled it from start and finish. We need to get better at finishing chances which has been a problem for a few weeks. We’re slowly improving, as a young squad and move onto next week. We need to be in those situations to either pressure them or take our chances.” said Covic.
For Nepean FC coach Josh Jacka, he reflected on the result for his young side who look to bounce back:
“It was a disappointing result, there are elements that we did well but some that we need to work on at training next week. They showed character and passion across the 90 minutes led by custodian Jasmine Crouch who made some terrific saves.” said Jacka.
