Let’s get onto the preview!
Match of the Round: Bankstown City Lions FC vs South Coast Flame FC, Sunday 15 June, 5pm, Jensen Park
Bankstown City Lions FC host South Coast Flame FC in their game at Jensen Park on Sunday afternoon.
The Lions were beaten 2-1 by Blacktown Spartans FC in their travels to Blacktown Football Park last weekend.
Karen Bennett scored her maiden goal of the season to give the Lions the lead and she will be hungry for further goals on Sunday.
The Lions were flattened 4-0 in the Round 3 clash so the hosts are ready to square the ledger on the weekend.
South Coast Flame FC won 2-1 against Blacktown City FC which kicked off Round 15 of the League One Women’s competition.
Bessie Riethmuller found the back of the net for the first time since late April which will boost South Coast Flame FC’s finals chances.
The Flame sit one point outside the top four and three points in this encounter could elevate them into finals calculations.
This game will be streamed LIVE on the Football NSW YouTube channel and due to having top billing it means Matt ‘Duckman’ Austin will be behind the microphone.
Sutherland Strikers FC vs St George FC, Sunday 15 June, 4:30pm, Harrie Denning Centre
Sutherland Strikers FC battle local rivals St George FC at Harrie Denning Centre on Sunday afternoon.
The Strikers warmed up for this game with a 4-1 win over Nepean FC played at St Marys Cook Park last Sunday.
Grace Considine bagged a brace in the result, and she has emerged as an important option up front for the Strikers.
She has plenty of experience around her including another goal scorer in Lucy Johnston to push the side further up the ladder.
St George FC featured in a 1-1 draw against Marconi Stallions FC in the Round 15 Match of the Round.
The Saints were wasteful in front of goal in the stalemate so coach Mark Greenfield will want them to be clinical in the derby.
Defender Nicole Besz made her first appearance since Round 10 and offers them some more defensive stability.
Marconi Stallions FC vs Blacktown Spartans, Sunday 15 June, 5pm, Marconi Stadium
Marconi Stallions FC face off against Blacktown Spartans FC at Marconi Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Stallions had a 1-1 draw with fellow contenders St George FC in the Match of the Round last Sunday night.
Striker Pene Bonovas secured the point with a special free-kick and she will be ready for further goals in this clash.
Marie Herrera did a strong job in the middle of the park for the Stallions and the midfielder will be keen for an encore at home.
The Spartans had a stirring comeback in their 2-1 win against Bankstown City Lions FC on their home turf.
Danielle Keller poached both goals in the success and she will lead the line again for the Spartans in Sydney’s south-west.
Coach Lachlan Raymond will be delighted his side have registered back-to-back wins and set their sights on a third on Sunday.
Blacktown City FC vs Hills United FC, Sunday 15 June, 5pm, Landen Stadium
Blacktown City FC take on leaders Hills United FC down at Landen Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The hosts went down in an entertaining 2-1 fixture against South Coast Flame FC in Kembla Grange.
Midfielder Zoe Zaczek provided the assist for their goal in the game, but she also saw red which means she will miss this clash.
Both captain Paris Kambouris and defender Keira Hastings have been consistent performers for the hosts in 2025.
Hills United FC laid down a marker with their 7-0 success against Inter Lions FC at Majors Bay Reserve.
Elin Rosenberg Cemazar drew rave reviews for her performance and tallied her 13th goal of the season in the romp.
Partnering her, Jess Wootton scored twice in the huge win so Hills United FC have a formidable attacking line-up to take to Landen Stadium.
Central Coast Mariners FC vs Nepean FC, Sunday 15 June, 5pm, Pluim Park
Central Coast Mariners FC welcome Nepean FC to Pluim Park for their game on Sunday afternoon.
The Mariners were held to a 2-2 draw against a rugged Camden Tigers FC side in their game last Sunday.
Natalia O’Driscoll opened the scoring for the Mariners and with some player departures might be a key figure for the yellow-and-navy.
They sit fourth on the League One Women’s ladder and need to bank some points to offset the chasing pack for finals.
Nepean FC suffered a 4-1 to a resurgent Sutherland Strikers FC on their home turf in their clash last weekend.
Eden Smith came off the bench in the loss and scored a consolation goal. She will give them more options for goals.
The visitors were beaten 7-1 in the reverse fixture against Central Coast Mariners FC and aim for a better showing on Sunday.
Camden Tigers FC vs SD Raiders FC, Sunday 15 June, 5pm, Ron Dine Reserve
Camden Tigers FC host local rivals SD Raiders FC down at Ron Dine Reserve on Sunday afternoon.
The Tigers snatched a point in their 2-2 draw against Central Coast Mariners FC in their travels to Pluim Park.
Deana Caronna netted the leveller and has enjoyed her time in Tigers colours so will be ready to find the back of the net again.
Coach Alex Antolak’s side have shown grit and they want to take bragging rights against one of the top sides in League One Women’s competition.
SD Raiders FC are ready to get back into action after the second placed side had the bye in Round 15 of the competition.
Last time out, the visitors had a 1-0 success against Central Coast Mariners FC and look to cut into Hills United FC’s lead at the top.
Sharina Harris has been an unsung hero for SD Raiders FC this season and she will put in another shift on Sunday.
