Round 19 in the Football NSW League One Women’s competition sees the campaign start to gear up for their final push for the season. There are six intriguing games to examine across the weekend with the Match of the Round between South Coast Flame FC and Camden Tigers FC the headline act.

Match of the Round: South Coast Flame FC vs Camden Tigers FC, Saturday 5 July, 3pm, Sir Ian McLennan Oval

South Coast Flame FC hosts Camden Tigers FC down at Sir Ian McLennan Oval on Saturday afternoon.

The Flame head into this game after a 2-0 win against Inter Lions FC at Majors Bay Reserve last Sunday.

Bessie Riethmuller scored her eight of the season in the result and she will look to engineer another goal on the weekend.

South Coast Flame FC have found form in recent weeks which has been helped by some impressive performances from Jessie Abbott.

Camden Tigers FC battled hard in their 2-1 loss to St George FC in their contest at Barton Park last weekend.

The Tigers took the lead through Charlotte Taylor in the game and that underlines that they won’t be a pushover on Saturday.

Pushing them forward will be top scorer Chantelle Barnard and Jade Constance towards three points.

This game will be streamed LIVE on the Football NSW YouTube on Saturday. League One Women’s reporter Justin Davies will be behind the microphone for the clash.

St George FC vs Blacktown City FC, Sunday 6 July, 4:30pm, Barton Park

St George FC faces off against Blacktown City FC in their game at Barton Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Saints returned to action with a professional 2-1 result against Camden Tigers FC last weekend.

The dependable Janan Codmani was on the scoresheet in the win and the attacker will be crucial to St George FC’s success in 2025.

Alongside her, Jaslyn Moore and Abbey-Rose Cryer have worked well on the wings and bring energy to the Saints side.

Blacktown City FC produced a strong finish to beat Nepean FC 2-1 on their home turf of Landen Stadium.

They had to dig in to get the result which will please coach Mark Greenfield and hopefully repeat the dose on Sunday.

Olivia Moar found the back of the net with the equaliser and was due reward for her hard work across the season.

Central Coast Mariners FC vs Inter Lions FC, Sunday 6 July, 5pm, Pluim Park

Central Coast Mariners FC hosts Inter Lions FC in their contest at Pluim Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Mariners won a pulsating contest 2-1 against Bankstown City Lions FC at Pluim Park last weekend.

Ava Moller smashed home the opener in the win and she will give them more options up front headed into the pivotal games.

The Mariners do have a game in hand and if they can string some results together can jump into the League One Women’s top four.

Inter Lions FC were beaten 2-0 by a red hot South Coast Flame FC at Majors Bay Reserve last Sunday.

While they didn’t get a result, Inter Lions FC are buoyed by their work in the last fortnight and coach John Di Biase’s side will be ready for this game.

They will look towards another commanding performance from Zoe Katsionis in midfield to launch them towards a possible upset.

Nepean FC vs Marconi Stallions FC, Sunday 6 July, 5pm, Cook Park

Nepean FC take on highflyers Marconi Stallions FC in their contest at Cook Park on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts took the lead before falling to a 2-1 loss against Blacktown City FC at Landen Stadium last Sunday.

Despite the loss, Nepean FC will take plenty of heart from that game holding Blacktown City FC at bay for most of the game.

Striker Paris Staal swept home the opener which gave them something to hold onto and she will needed again on Sunday.

Marconi Stallions were 2-1 winners against Sutherland Strikers FC in their travels to Harrie Denning Centre.

The Stallions have shared the goal scoring around with Danielle Helena popping home the winner on the weekend.

Coach Michael Beauchamp has his side firing on all cylinders and they will be keen to put in another strong performance.

Bankstown City Lions FC vs SD Raiders FC, Sunday 6 July, 5pm, Jensen Park

Bankstown City Lions FC welcome SD Raiders FC to Jensen Park for their game on Sunday afternoon.

The Lions fell to a late defeat against Central Coast Mariners FC in their contest at Pluim Park last weekend.

Wide player Lucy Coxsedge has made a habit of crucial goals for Bankstown City Lions and tallied the leveller before they were beaten late.

Keeley Segavcic drew rave reviews despite the loss and the former Wanderers keeper will need to be on her game again against the potent SD Raiders FC attack.

SD Raiders FC pulled off a huge result in their 3-2 win against Hills United FC at Ernie Smith Reserve.

Taiana Almeida bookended the win with her goals and adds another handy option for SD Raiders FC in attack.

If the visitors can get three points out of this game it will cut further into Hills United FC’s lead and set up for a grandstand finish.

Blacktown Spartans FC vs Sutherland Strikers FC, Sunday 6 July, 5pm, Blacktown Football Park

Blacktown Spartans FC face off against Sutherland Strikers FC at Blacktown Football Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Spartans head into this game re-energised after they had the bye in Round 18 of the League One Women’s competition.

Winger Paris Vinuya was a bright spark in their last defeat to Inter Lions and will bring the pace on the flanks.

Behind her, custodian Ella Stewart has been solid between the sticks for the Spartans and will be called upon again on Sunday.

Sutherland Strikers FC lost 2-1 to a stampeding Marconi Stallions FC side at Harrie Denning Centre last weekend.

The Strikers added some grunt to their side with former Gladesville Raven Kimberley Davey joining in the last month.

Alongside her, they have the scoring talents of youngsters Grace Considine and Kiera Moukatas to help them secure a result.
