Saturday, 30th August 2025
Match of the Round: Fraser Park FC vs South Coast Flame FC, 7pm at Fraser Park
Previous meeting: South Coast Flame FC 6-0 Fraser Park FC
The biggest match of the season for South Coast Flame FC sees them look to complete a big comeback in the fight for 2nd when they travel to take on Fraser Park FC, where anything less than a win will see them finish the season in 3rd and just miss out on the promotion playoff.
In the reverse fixture, the Flame recorded a big 6-0 home win; they will hope to complete the biggest league double of their season, while Fraser Park will hope to spoil their party.
9th-placed Fraser Park scored five goals in consecutive matches following their 90+7’ equaliser away to Granville Rage in their Round 29 match and will hope to take that same fight to the Flame as they look to end their season on a positive note.
Having scored five goals from the 80th minute and onwards in their past five matches, Fraser Park have shown their ability to stay in matches late and will hope to take that same energy to the Flame as they look to determine the race for promotion this season.
A win for Fraser Park could see them end the season in the top half of the ladder in 7th, while a loss would see them end the season in 9th.
3rd-placed South Coast Flame FC, meanwhile, secured a big 1-0 home win over Gladesville Ryde Magic last week to close the gap to Prospect to just two points ahead of the final round and will hope to complete their league comeback to snatch 2nd place.
With this season’s Golden Boot winner in waiting, Jyden Harb, looking to add to his 27 goals, he will hope to give his side the best chance at securing 2nd by the end of the night.
A win for the Flame could see them claim the all-important 2nd place if Prospect fail to beat Bankstown United FC in their match, while a loss or a draw would see them just miss out and finish 3rd or even potentially 4th.
With the battle for promotion coming down to the final match week, Fraser Park will hope to have their say on the Flame’s chances, while South Coast will hope to grab a big win as they keep one eye on results elsewhere.
Sydney University SFC vs Inner West Hawks FC, 5pm at Sydney University Football Ground
Previous meeting: Inner West Hawks FC 3-2 Sydney University SFC
Sydney University SFC will hope to have a positive end to what has been a positive final third of the season when they host Inner West Hawks FC, who will also hope to end the year on a high.
In the reverse fixture, the Hawks held on late with ten men to secure a 3-2 home win; they will hope to go eight-straight head-to-head matches unbeaten against University, while the students will hope to end that streak with a big win.
13th-placed Sydney University SFC scored a stoppage time opener and conceded a stoppage time equaliser in a dramatic 1-1 draw to Prospect United SC last week and will hope to take their recent positive results with them heading into the final match of the season.
Having avoided a last-placed finish, after being bottom of the league for 18 of the 29 rounds this season, University will hope to take their positives from the back end of the season into 2026.
A win for University could see them end the season in as high as 11th place, while a loss could see them finish the season in 14th.
10th-placed Inner West Hawks, meanwhile, saw their five-match unbeaten run end in a 4-1 home loss to Bankstown United FC last week but will hope to end the season on a positive note when they face University.
With two players in their squad in double digits for goals this season in Hesan Soufi and Peter Yannopoulos, they will hope to end their seasons well and take confidence heading into 2026.
The result does not matter in terms of league positive for the Hawks, as they are locked in to finish 10th this season, so they will hope to grab a win to end their season on a high.
With both University and the Hawks looking to end the season on a high, both sides will hope to do so when they clash.
Gladesville Ryde Magic vs Camden Tigers FC, 5pm at Christie Park
Previous meeting: Camden Tigers FC 1-2 Gladesville Ryde Magic
The battle to avoid a last-placed finish for Camden Tigers FC comes down to the final match of the season when they host a Gladesville Ryde Magic side looking to end a losing streak.
In the reverse fixture, the Magic held on for a 2-1 away win over the Tigers; they will hope to complete the league double, just as they did in the 2023 season, while Camden will hope to grab a big away win just as they did in 2024.
12th-placed Gladesville Ryde Magic lost a fifth-straight match following their 1-0 defeat away to South Coast Flame FC last week but will hope to end that streak and end their season on a positive note.
With plenty of players looking to prove themselves ahead of the end of the season and into 2026, expect a spirited performance from the Magic.
A win for the Magic could see them finish the season in 11th, while a loss could see them finish as low as 13th.
Last-placed Camden Tigers FC, meanwhile, gave their hopes of avoiding a last-placed finish another big boost with their second win in three weeks following their 4-0 home win over Central Coast United FC, the team they are hoping to overtake, last week.
With a few outs expected at the end of the year for the Tigers, the squad will hope to show one last fight as they look to win a third match from their last four to end the season.
A win for the Tigers would see them avoid a last-placed finish and could see them end the season in as high as 13th, while a loss would see them end the year bottom of the league.
With the Magic looking to snap a losing streak and the Tigers hoping to avoid a last-placed finish in the final round, both teams will hope to show fight as they take each other on to end their seasons.
Hawkesbury City FC vs Parramatta FC, 5pm at David Bertenshaw Field
Previous meeting: Parramatta FC 4-4 Hawkesbury City FC
The battle of the birds will end off the season for Hawkesbury City FC and Parramatta FC, with both sides looking to excite in what is usually a close contest.
Earlier in the season, the two teams played out a 4-4 draw in an enthralling contest; expect goals to be on the mind of both sides this time around, too, as they both look to end their respective seasons on a positive note.
5th-placed Hawkesbury City FC will hope to grab back-to-back wins to end the season when they take on the Eagles, following their 4-2 away win over Nepean FC in Round 29.
Harry Drew moved to 19 goals for the season after his goal last week and will hope to finish runner-up in the Golden Boot race as he chases a 20-goal season.
No matter the result, Hawkesbury will finish the season in 6th, but regardless will want to end the season on a win.
7th-placed Parramatta FC, meanwhile, lost back-to-back matches following their 3-0 home loss to Dunbar Rovers FC last week but will also hope to end their season on a positive note.
With Parramatta hoping to build for 2026 with experience in their younger players, they will hope to grab one more win to end the year.
A win for the Eagles would see them end the year in the top half of the ladder in 7th, while a loss could see them finish outside the top half in as low as 9th.
With both Hawkesbury and Parramatta looking to end the season on a high, with an eye to 2026, both teams will hope to end the year with a win.
Hurstville Zagreb FC vs Granville Rage, 5pm at Penshurst Park
Previous meeting: Granville Rage 2-4 Hurstville Zagreb FC
The Premiers, Hurstville Zagreb FC, will lift the League Two Men’s trophy for 2025 following their final match of the season against Granville Rage, who will hope to finish the season on a high note.
In the reverse fixture, Hurstville won their first match in six head-to-head attempts against the Rage with a 4-2 away win; they will hope to complete the league double, while Granville will look to topple the Premiers away.
Premiers Hurstville, meanwhile, will hope to end their season on a 16-match unbeaten run and will look to win the league by as large a margin as possible as they prepare to lift the League Two Men’s trophy for 2025.
With the final game a massive celebration for Hurstville as a club and community, they will hope to put on a positive display in Round 30.
A win for Hurstville could see them end up with a league-winning margin of as high as 20 points, a target they will hope to chase to end the season.
5th-placed Granville Rage, meanwhile, saw their hopes of a 2nd-placed finish all-but fade away following their late goal conceded in a 5-5 home draw to Fraser Park FC last week, but will hope to also end their season on a high note.
With a swing of 17 goals needed between them and 2nd-placed Prospect United SC, as well as needing South Coast Flame FC to suffer defeat, Granville will take no pressure into their final two matches as they look to just finish the season on a high note.
A win for Granville, pending other results, could see them realistically finish the season in 3rd.
Before this match, however, Granville have a Round 27 catch-up match at home to Dunbar Rovers FC on Wednesday, 27th August at 8pm at Garside Park.
With Hurstville lifting the trophy following the conclusion of this match and Granville hoping to end the season as high as 3rd, both sides will hope to put on a clinical performance to end the year.
Dunbar Rovers FC vs Nepean FC, 7pm at Rockdale Ilinden Sports Centre
Previous meeting: Nepean FC 1-4 Dunbar Rovers FC
A few places on the ladder are up for grabs for both Dunbar Rovers FC and Nepean FC as they look to end their respective seasons on a positive note.
In the reverse fixture, two doubles from Dunbar saw them come out as 4-1 winners away over Nepean; they will hope to complete the league double, while Nepean will look to get revenge away.
8th-placed Dunbar Rovers won their first match in eight after their 3-0 away win over Parramatta FC last week and will hope to end their season on a positive note.
Dunbar will hope to continue to play positively as they look to grab a few wins to end the season to build into 2026.
A win for Dunbar could see them finish the year in the top half of the ladder in 7th, while a loss could see them end the season as low as 9th.
Dunbar also have a mid-week Round 27 catch-up match away to Granville Rage on Wednesday, 27th August at 8pm at Garside Park.
11th-placed Nepean FC, meanwhile, went seven matches without a win after their 4-2 home loss to Hawkesbury City FC but will hope to end their season on a win.
Having scored two goals in each of their past three matches, Nepean will hope to continue their attacking form as they look to end the season on a high.
A win for Nepean would see them finish the season in 11th, while a loss could see them end the season in as low as 13th.
With both Dunbar and Nepean looking to end the year as high as possible on the ladder, both sides will hope to show their skills when they take to the field to face each other.
Prospect United SC vs Bankstown United FC, 7pm at Blacktown Exercise Sports and Technology Hub
Previous meeting: Bankstown United FC 3-1 Prospect United SC
An all-or-nothing match for Prospect sees them looking to wrap up 2nd to finish the season and qualify for the promotion play-off when they host a side they have had recent trouble against in Bankstown United FC.
In the reverse fixture, Bankstown picked up a 3-1 home win, which made it consecutive wins for them over Prospect; they will hope to complete the league double, while Prospect will hope to pick up their first win over Bankstown since 2023 to secure a 2nd-placed finish.
2nd-placed Prospect United SC went back-to-back matches without a win for just the second time this season following their 1-1 draw away to Sydney University SFC last week, where a late stoppage time goal rescued a draw for them.
With just one needed from their final three matches to secure 2nd, Prospect have so far failed to do so, but will hope to rise to the occasion in the final round to secure their spot in 2nd.
A win for Prospect will secure a 2nd-placed finish, seeing them end the season on 55 points, while a loss could see them miss out on their shot at promotion and finish 3rd to South Coast Flame FC.
4th-placed Bankstown United FC, meanwhile, ended a three-match winless run with a 4-1 away win with ten men over Inner West Hawks FC and will hope to end their season on a high note, having their say on the promotion race.
With their squad looking to build for a big push for promotion in 2026, they will hope to end the season on a high note.
A win for Bankstown could see them finish the season in 4th, while a loss could see them finish the season in 5th.
With Prospect in pole position for the all-important 2nd-placed finish to qualify for the promotion-relegation play-off, they will hope to get the job done against Bankstown, who will hope to have their say on the promotion race.
14th-placed Central Coast United FC have a bye in Round 30.
