Northern Suburbs Football Association’s Lindfield Football Club is writing a proud new chapter in its storied history this Sunday, with four of its teams set to take the field at the prestigious Champion of Champions Finals at Valentine Sports Park.

It’s a rare and remarkable feat for any club—let alone a community-based club—to see four teams reach the finals in the same year. But for Lindfield FC, it’s a moment that speaks to something deeper than talent alone.

“It’s an incredibly proud moment for Lindfield FC,” said Club President Mark Pittman.

“To have four teams competing in the Champion of Champions Finals (15 Girls, 18 Womens, 21 Womens and All Age Womens) is a testament to the dedication, talent, and spirit of our players, coaches, and volunteers. This achievement reflects years of hard work and a club-wide commitment to excellence both on and off the pitch.”

From the youngest girls’ teams to the club’s experienced squads, the presence of so many Lindfield players on the state’s biggest community football stage highlights the depth and strength of the club’s program.

“It’s rare to see this level of representation from a single club,” Pittman continued.

“It speaks volumes about the strength of our footballing culture and community. We’re thrilled to see our teams showcase their skills on such a prestigious stage, and we’ll be cheering them on with immense pride.”

Lindfield FC is no stranger to success at the highest levels of grassroots football in NSW. But their ability to continually perform at this standard year after year is no accident.

“Lindfield FC stands out because of our deep-rooted values and community-driven approach,” said Pittman.

“We’re more than just a football club—we’re a family. Our success is built on a foundation of passionate coaching, strong player development pathways, and a culture that prioritizes enjoyment, teamwork, and respect.”

Pittman pointed out that many of the club’s coaches and volunteers have grown up through the ranks, bringing a deep understanding of the Lindfield ethos into everything they do.

“Many of our coaches have grown up within the club, carrying forward the Lindfield DNA and instilling it in the next generation. We also place a strong emphasis on inclusivity and support, ensuring every player feels valued and inspired to grow.”

As the finals approach, Pittman was quick to share the spotlight with the many individuals who have contributed to this success.

“First and foremost, I want to thank our dedicated coaches and coaching staff—many of whom have been with Lindfield FC for years and have played a pivotal role in developing our players both technically and personally,” he said.

“Their passion and commitment are the backbone of our success.

“I’d also like to acknowledge our team managers and volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes, and the families of our players, whose encouragement and involvement help foster the positive environment we pride ourselves on.

“And of course, our players themselves—your hard work, resilience, and love for the game are what make moments like this possible.”

He also extended his gratitude to the Lindfield FC committee and broader club community.

“This achievement is a reflection of our shared vision and the strength of our club culture.”

As Sunday’s finals draw near, one thing is certain—Lindfield FC will be there in full voice, united behind their teams, ready to celebrate whatever the result.
