Plenty of big away wins saw more shake-ups amid a wet weekend of football in Round 8 of the 2026 League Two Men’s season.

The Match of the Round between Granville Rage and Parramatta FC was washed out, so here is the rest of the action from the weekend.


Saturday, 28th March 2026

Central Coast United FC 1-5 Dunbar Rovers FC

Dunbar Rovers FC put in a five-star performance to record their biggest win of the season so far, 5-1 away over Central Coast United FC.

Hristopher Neskovski opened the scoring for Dunbar in the 8th minute following a run down the right, before he slotted the ball across the goal and into the back of the net.

Central Coast responded in the 22nd minute when Matthew Kairouz was quickest to respond to a rebound from a free kick, slotting the ball home to level the match at 1-1.

Dunbar responded after half-time, in the 51st minute, through Daniel Goni, who scored from 40 yards to give Dunbar their lead back at 2-1 up.

In the 73rd minute, Guilherme Mazurkievicz Pansonato extended Dunbar’s advantage with a strike which went in powerfully at the near post.

Alessandro Romeo came off the bench to immediate impact for Dunbar, scoring within six minutes of entering the field in the 79th minute, his first goal for the club giving Dunbar a 4-1 lead.

Dunbar rounded out the 5-1 win in the 86th minute when Samuel Tzanakes got on the end of a Gianni Costantino cross, Tzanakes missing a penalty in the match but moving to seven goals for the season so far, regardless.

South Coast Flame FC 1-1 Bankstown United FC

Both South Coast Flame FC and Bankstown United FC were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw in a tight contest on the coast.

The Flame had a notable chance to score in the first half through Michael Trajkovski, while Bankstown had a chance fall to Connor Khoury, but the respective shots were cleared off the line and saved.

After the break, Bankstown had a big chance each to Piero Solinas and Raoel Yakub, both saved.

The Flame were awarded a penalty in the 51st minute when Thomas Dunn was upended in the box; Matthew Mazevski stepped up and converted from the spot to give the Flame a 1-0 lead.

Bankstown responded well with possession and were rewarded in the 67th minute when a cross found Solinas at the back post; he headed the ball home to level the match at 1-1.

Despite late chances to Yakub and Mitchell Gibbs, both sides settled for a point each.

Inner West Hawks FC 0-0 Fraser Park FC

Neither Inner West Hawks FC nor Fraser Park FC were able to break the deadlock at Arlington Oval, the two teams playing out a goalless draw.

Peter Phillips had the best chance for the Hawks in the first half but had his header well saved, while for Fraser Park Mason Fernandez was unable to make his chance count.

A similar pattern continued in the second half, with both sides having limited chances but not being able to convert the ones they were presented with.

In the end, the two sides count not find the breakthrough in the 0-0 draw.

Sydney University SFC 3-0 Hawkesbury City FC

Sydney University SFC defeated Hawkesbury City FC at home for the third season in a row after they came away with a 3-0 success.

University took the lead in the 5th minute from the penalty spot after Joseph Roddy won the spot kick; Isaac Folkes stepped up and slotted the penalty home for a 1-0 University lead.

The students doubled that lead after the break in the 58th minute when Ko Tohara took on his marker and launched a shot into the back of the net from outside the box.

University wrapped up the 3-0 win in the 63rd minute when Folkes broke through the Hawks defence and had his shot saved into the path of Roddy, who scored to round out the hosts’ victory, Hawkesbury finishing the match with ten men when Joshua Montgomery was sent off in the 87th minute.

Gladesville Ryde Magic 1-3 Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC

Bonnyrigg won a third match from their past four after they earned a 3-1 away win over Gladesville Ryde Magic.

Bonnyrigg opened the scoring in the 4th minute through Milan Subotic from the penalty spot, before Daniel Bittar doubled the visitors’ lead just four minutes later.

Nicola Krjar added a third just before half-time, and Gladesville could only score a consolation goal late through Stavros Palapanis, Bonnyrigg running out 3-1 winners.

Camden Tigers FC 2-4 Mounties Wanderers FC

Mounties Wanderers FC continued their charge at the top of the ladder with a strong 4-2 away win over Camden Tigers FC.

The visitors started strongly with an own goal to Zak Kayal in the opening minute of the match, plus a goal from Patrick Antelmi in the 36th minute for a 2-0 half-time lead.

After the break, Camden came out strongly and pulled a goal back through Zak Kayal in the 58th minute, before they levelled the match at 2-2 in the 67th minute through Dylan Gil.

Mounties pushed back and Antelmi added to his tally for the season, rising to nine goals, the leading scorer putting the visitors ahead once again in the 75th minute.

Mounties secured the win in the 89th minute when Kayal scored his second own goal of the match, the visitors running away 4-2 winners.
