Round 6 in the Football NSW League One Women’s competition stretches across the whole long weekend with some exciting football for fans to enjoy. There are six games to run the rule over across the four days headlined by the Match of the Round between South Coast Flame FC and Sutherland Strikers FC on Saturday afternoon. Let’s get onto the preview!

Match of the Round: South Coast Flame FC vs Sutherland Strikers FC

Saturday 4 April 2026, 5pm, Sir Ian McLennan Oval

South Coast Flame FC host Sutherland Strikers FC at Sir Ian McLennan Oval on Saturday afternoon.

The Flame bounced back with a 3-0 win against Blacktown City FC to open Round 5 last Saturday evening.

Abbey Crapp scored twice in that result and continues to have a nose for goal for the Flame since joining last season.

Alongside her, Sariah Wilson has shown an aptitude to roam up and down the wing and pops up in some prime scoring positions.

Sutherland Strikers FC battled hard in their 2-0 defeat to leaders Newcastle Jets FC on home turf.

Captain Dianne Wilson has been dependable at the back for the Strikers in the last two seasons and will look to hold off the Flame attack.

Matilda McParland scored some stunning goals last year and she will be a good option off the bench for the Strikers if they are chasing the game late.

This game will be streamed LIVE on the Football NSW YouTube channel with Tim Gibson behind the microphone for this clash.

SD Raiders FC vs Camden Tigers FC

Friday 3 April, 3pm, Cirillo Reserve

SD Raiders FC kick off the long weekend against Camden Tigers FC at Cirillo Reserve on Friday afternoon.

The hosts produced another impressive display to win 6-2 against St George FC in the Match of the Round last weekend.

Something that has been an early trademark for SD Raiders FC is their second half displays scoring nine goals in their last two second halves.

Sarah Mandile returned to the starting line-up and her work down the flank kept the SD Raiders FC engine chugging forward.

Camden Tigers FC played out a 0-0 draw against Bankstown City Lions FC in their game at Ron Dine Reserve last Sunday.

If the Tigers are looking to find some goals in this contest they will look to the experience of Danielle Bishop to find the back of the net.

The Tigers have shown their stout resilience already through five weeks and they will need to call upon all of that against the high scoring SD Raiders FC side.

Bankstown City Lions FC vs Blacktown Spartans FC

Sunday April 5, 2:30pm, Jensen Park

Bankstown City Lions FC take on Blacktown Spartans FC at Jensen Park to kick off on Easter Sunday.

The Lions collected another point in their 0-0 draw against Camden Tigers FC traveling out to Camden.

Karen Bennett is the leading scorer for the Lions thus far in 2026 and they might need to sweep home again to get something from this game.

Another player who has been crucial for the Lions is Briana Wong who has started the last four games for them after coming off the bench in Round 1.

Blacktown Spartans FC left it late to beat Nepean FC 1-0 in their contest played at Blacktown Football Park.

Sharpshooter Gemma Woolley scored the match winner and the star addition will be hoping to add to her four goals for the season.

At the back, custodian Alexis Tan has been impressive for the Spartans and looks to add to her two clean sheets for the season.

Nepean FC vs Central Coast Mariners FC

Sunday April 5, 5pm, Jamison Park Field 1

Nepean FC hosts Central Coast Mariners FC in their game at Jamison Park Field 1 on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts fell to a late 1-0 defeat against Blacktown Spartans FC in their western derby last weekend.

Nepean FC have already shown a propensity this season to hold their own against top sides and will be a tough out again on Sunday.

Kiera Geoghagen has featured in all five games for Nepean FC and is one of their players who produce a solid shift every game.

Central Coast Mariners FC were beaten 2-1 in their travels to Marconi Stadium #2 last Sunday evening.

Goal scorer Lily Quayle gave them spark off the bench and her work alongside Isabella Beresford will push the Mariners forward.

The Mariners will miss someone who has starting every game in Summer Pollard after her second half red card against the Stallions.

Blacktown City FC vs Marconi Stallions FC

Sunday April 5, 5pm, Landen Stadium

Blacktown City FC welcome Marconi Stallions FC to Landen Stadium for their game on Sunday afternoon.

Blacktown City FC will be looking to bounce back after their 3-0 defeat to South Coast Flame FC last Saturday.

Ana-Liese Lobos has been inserted to the Blacktown City FC starting side in the last fortnight and will give them some extra spark.

Custodian Amy Harkin is an experienced shotstopper and she might be called upon for some crucial saves to help Blacktown City FC get a result.

Marconi Stallions FC secured their first home win of the season in a 2-1 win against Central Coast Mariners FC.

Pene Bonovas has tallied two goals thus far in 2026 and the attacker will lead the line again for the Stallions on Sunday.

Alongside her, Hannah Voloder seems to always be involved when the Stallions push forward for results.

Inter Lions FC vs Newcastle Jets FC

Monday April 6, 4:30pm, Majors Bay Reserve

Rounding out the long weekend is Inter Lions FC taking on Newcastle Jets FC at Majors Bay Reserve on Monday afternoon.

The Lions head into this game well rested after they had the bye last weekend before this huge clash against the leaders.

Cate Gyzen has been heavily involved in the goals that Inter Lions FC have scored in 2026 and she will be primed for a big shift on Monday.

They will be without stalwart Belinda Anderson-Sharp after her red card in their previous game against Bankstown City Lions FC.

The Jets had to work hard for their 2-0 win against Sutherland Strikers FC in their travels to Harrie Denning Centre.

Coach Greg Hartge will want his side to take more of their chances in this game to make it a more comfortable trip.

Emily Garnett has become a weapon off the bench for Hartge with goals in back-to-back games as a substitute.
