Round 12 of the 2026 Football NSW League Two Men’s season saw away sides have plenty of success, while the biggest win of the season so far came for the only home winner.

The Match of the Round this week saw Dunbar Rovers FC continue their strong run of form away to Gladesville Ryde Magic.

Match of the Round: Gladesville Ryde Magic 1-2 Dunbar Rovers FC

Dunbar Rovers FC won a fourth-straight match in a 2-1 away success to Gladesville Ryde Magic, who themselves were condemned to a fourth-straight loss.

Gladesville started the match strongly with three cut-back chances but were unable to convert them.

Dunbar took the early advantage in the contest, however, in the 22nd minute, after they were awarded a penalty following a scramble in the box; they converted the penalty from the spot through Jack Crotty to lead 1-0.

Gladesville struck back in the 38th minute when Charlie Townsend set up Ewan Perrott, who backheeled the ball to Stefan Baker in the box; Baker finding the bottom corner through the legs of the Dunbar defence to level the contest at 1-1.

Gladesville had two one-on-one chances to take the lead in the first half but could not put them away, going into the sheds level with Dunbar.

Dunbar held the ball well in the second half, while Gladesville had a few big chances to score but were denied by Dunbar goalkeeper Benjamin Wrigley, who denied Townsend, Perrott and Stavros Palapanis.

The visitors continued to battle away and found the lead once more, this time through Zachary Marinos, who scored with a back heel effort following a rebounded save to give Dunbar a 2-1 lead.

Gladesville had seven corners and three free-kicks in the final 15 minutes, hitting the post in one effort, but ultimately finished the match with ten men after Baker was shown a red card deemed to be the last man when fouling a Dunbar player in stoppage time, Dunbar holding on for a 2-1 win.

The visitors capitalised on an early defensive mistake from Bankstown in the 8th minute through Jonathan Soares, who scored to give Mounties a 1-0 lead.

Luke Raso doubled the visitors’ lead in the 26th minute, both sides feeling the fatigue following mid-week Australia Cup matches, Mounties 2-0 up at half-time.
