The Hahn Australia Cup Round 6 Preliminary fixtures were finalised overnight, with the remaining four teams locking in their place in Round 7 — the final qualifying stage where winners will go on to represent Football NSW in the 2026 Hahn Australia Cup Round of 32 where they will face potential A-League sides.
Sydney United 58, Rockdale Ilinden, SD Raiders FC and Wollongong United FC will now join Blacktown City, Sydney Olympic FC, APIA Leichhardt FC and Fraser Park FC in Round 7, with the draw set to be announced on Friday 15 May.
Sydney United 58 progressed after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Manly United at Cromer Park, with all goals coming in the second half. Former Manly United player Farah Koko opened the scoring in the 50th minute before Carlos De Oliveira doubled the lead six minutes later. Manly United responded late through Kakeru Ono in the 84th minute, but it proved too little too late as United 58 held on to secure their Round 7 spot.
Rockdale Ilinden delivered a dominant 5-0 win over League One Men’s side Hakoah Sydney City East at Hensley Athletic Field. Mo Adam starred with a brace, while Giorgio Speranza, Hunter Elliott and Moudi Najjar also got on the scoresheet in a comprehensive performance that confirmed their progression into Round 7.
SD Raiders FC booked their place in the next round after a tight 2-1 win over St George City at Penshurst Park, with all three goals coming in a fast-paced first half. Thomas Santarossa gave the visitors the lead before Ahmad Taleb equalised just two minutes later in the 20th minute. SD Raiders responded immediately, with Thomas Makko restoring the lead in the 24th minute — a goal that ultimately proved decisive in securing their Round 7 berth.
Wollongong United FC kept Association representation alive with a 5-2 victory over Central Coast Football’s Southern & Ettalong United FC at Macedonia Park on Tuesday night. Nav Darjani opened the scoring in the 11th minute before Thomas Darjani added a second seven minutes later. The visitors hit back through Jayke Brown, but Kyah Jovanovski restored the two-goal advantage. A penalty from Todd Balneaves on the stroke of half-time gave Wollongong control heading into the break. Late goals, including an own goal from Alex Wardle and a penalty from James Stojanovski, sealed their progression and secured a shot at a Round of 32 berth.
