The conclusion of Round 15 of the 2026 Football NSW League Two Men’s season marks the halfway point, with Mounties Wanderers FC leading the league by 12 points and a plethora of sides in the hunt for second heading into the second half of the season.

The Match of the Round this week saw Dunbar Rovers FC get themselves back amongst the chasing pack with a big win over fellow contenders, Fraser Park FC.

Match of the Round: Dunbar Rovers FC 3-1 Fraser Park FC

Dunbar Rovers FC responded from back-to-back losses to put themselves within three points of 2nd spot after a hard-fought 3-1 home win over Fraser Park FC in the Match of the Round.

Dunbar pressed strongly early, moving the ball sharply, with Daniel Goni delivering a cross into the box, forcing a handball and a penalty – Guilherme Mazurkievicz Pansonato stepped up and slotted the penalty home in the 8th minute for a 1-0 Dunbar lead.

The hosts doubled their lead 20 minutes later when Zachary Marinos and Jack Crotty pressed high and won the ball, the latter finishing off the chance to help Dunbar to a 2-0 lead at half-time.

Dunbar created more chances after the break, but Fraser Park halved the deficit in the 58th minute through Francis Mcalpine.

The hosts sealed the victory late in the 84th minute when 19-year-old substitute Erik Hamlat took on a shot from range and found the back of the net off the inside of the near post to score his first senior goal for Dunbar and secure a 3-1 win.

The win for Dunbar saw them rise from 7th to 6th on 22 points, just three points behind the promotion-playoff spot of 2nd, while the loss for Fraser Park saw them go three matches without a win as they dropped from 2nd to 4th on 22 points.

Central Coast United FC 2-1 Inner West Hawks FC

Central Coast United FC came from behind to defeat a 10-man Inner West Hawks FC in a tight match to continue their rise in good form, rising from 14th to 13th and seeing the Hawks drop from 10th to 12th.

The Pirates created good chances early, including chances one-on-one and at point-blank range, and the Hawks found themselves down to 10 men in the first minute of stoppage time when Sidhya Malhotra was shown consecutive red cards for a culmination of fouls in the space of five minutes.

The Hawks took a 1-0 lead in the 52nd minute when one of their men was fouled in the box pouncing on a second ball; Peter Yannopoulos stepped up and converted from the spot to give the Hawks the breakthrough with ten men.

Central Coast equalised in the 65th minute following a set piece through Jacob Waddell and found the winning goal three minutes later through Cade Mapu, who combined with Jay Swaddling off a counterattack and finished well to seal a 2-1 Central Coast victory.

Parramatta FC 5-0 Camden Tigers FC

Parramatta FC won their first match in four to help them rise from 4th to 3rd at the halfway point of the season, putting in a five-star performance over Camden Tigers FC, winning 5-0 to keep them rooted to the bottom of the ladder.

The Eagles opened the scoring in the 26th minute when captain Marco Sama released Darragh Raynor down the left, who in turn found Dean O’Donnell in the box to score, before doubling their lead in the 36th minute, similar play seeing Raynor finish for a 2-0 lead.

Sama added a third for the hosts two minutes after half-time, finishing hard and low from an acute angle, before he completed his double in the 57th minute, receiving the ball from O’Donnell, flicking the ball over his defender and scoring for his 11th goal of the season and a 4-0 lead.

The Eagles rounded out the 5-0 win in the 78th minute when Derek Doffour and Travis Oughtred combined inside Camden’s half, the former getting inside the box and tackled, with the ball falling to Reynor to complete his double.

Bankstown United FC 1-3 Hawkesbury City FC

Hawkesbury City FC came from behind to secure back-to-back head-to-head victories over Bankstown United FC for the first time, winning 3-1 to rise from 12th to 10th above Bankstown, who dropped from 9th to 11th.

Bankstown opened the scoring in the 14th minute when Mitchell Gibbs headed home off a corner, but Hawkesbury levelled the match at 1-1 in the 23rd minute when Marc Zammit found space down the left and shot across goal, finding the back of the net.

Two minutes later, Hawkesbury found the lead when captain Harry Drew was found in behind by Lincoln Gilmour; the captain composed himself and slotted the ball home to give the Hawks a 2-1 lead.

The Hawks completed the 3-1 victory in the 53rd minute when Drew launched a free kick into the box onto the head of Aaron Peterson, who found Gilmour with the headed pass; the latter volleyed the ball home to seal the win for Hawkesbury.

Granville Rage 1-2 Nepean FC

Nepean FC came from behind to end an eight-match winless run, defeating Granville Rage 2-1 in the western Sydney derby to rise from 11th into 8th and resign the Rage to dropping from 6th to 7th.

Lucas Kowalski opened the scoring for the Rage in the 9th minute to give them a 1-0 lead over their rivals in a fast opening to the match.

Nepean struck back in the first minute of first-half stoppage time through their top goal scorer for the season, Toby Witjes, to level the match at 1-1 at half-time.

Witjes completed his double in the 57th minute, scoring his 12th goal of the season with his fourth double of the year, to give Nepean a hard-fought 2-1 win over Granville.

Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC 2-1 Sydney University SFC

It was late elation for Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC and late heartbreak for Sydney University SFC with a stoppage-time winner for the hosts proving decisive in a 2-1 win.

Sydney Uni opened the scoring in the 24th minute when Joe Foster had his shot saved, the ball falling to Isaac Folkes on the rebound to score for a 1-0 lead.

Bonnyrigg survived the multiple University chances and levelled the match late in the 87th minute when a low cross into the box found Daniel Bittar, the Eagles’ top scorer this season slotting the ball home.

The White Eagles found elation and broke the hearts of University with the last kick of the match in the fifth minute of stoppage time when a scramble inside the University box saw Bittar get to the ball and find the back of the net to snatch the three points late, Bittar completing his double to give Bonnyrigg a 2-1 win.

South Coast Flame FC 1-1 Mounties Wanderers FC

Mounties Wanderers FC dropped points for just the second time this season, earning their first draw in a comeback, drawing 1-1 away to South Coast Flame FC.

Despite a strong start from Mounties with early chances, the Flame opened the scoring in the 31st minute when Jordan Roberts scored direct off a free kick from 25 yards, the ball dipping and finding the back of the net.

Mounties and the Flame had chances following break, but Mounties responded in the 62nd minute through the league’s leading goal scorer for the season, Patrick Antelmi, who got on a cross from the left and volleyed the ball home to score his 14th goal from 14 matches to level the contest at 1-1.

Despite chances to both sides and a late red card to Mounties’ Dany Ghetti, neither team could find the late winner, the Flame staying 5th on 22 points alongside two others on the same number of points, while Mounties held a 12-point lead atop the ladder at the halfway point of the season.
