With the first half of the season completed, the chase for second could not be closer, learnings from this year’s previous matchups will be tested, and the league leaders will look to streak ahead in Round 16 of the 2026 Football NSW League Two Men’s season.

Match of the Round: Central Coast United FC vs Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC

Saturday, 23 May 2026 – 5pm, Pluim Park

An intriguing battle awaits as Central Coast United FC look to continue their strongest winning run of the season against the league’s most in-form team, Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC.

13th-placed Central Coast won back-to-back matches after their 2-1 home victory over Inner West Hawks FC last week and they will not let the league ladder fool anyone, looking to make a push in the second half of the season.

2nd-placed Bonnyrigg, meanwhile, won a fifth-straight match to move into the promotion play-off spot and will seek revenge over Central Coast, having lost to them 2-1 in the opening match of the season – Daniel Bittar will hope to lead the way for the visitors once again, the 33-year-old enjoying his best season for Bonnyrigg.

With plenty of history between these two clubs in years gone by, the ambition of both clubs will be on display once again.

Fraser Park FC vs Camden Tigers FC

Friday, 22 May 2026 – 8pm, Fraser Park

4th-placed Fraser Park FC will hope to return to form in the league, with only one win from their past five, as they keep one eye looking forward to their Round 7 Australia Cup clash with NPL giants APIA Leichardt FC on Wednesday, 27 May – a win for Fraser Park could put them back into 2nd.

Last-placed Camden Tigers FC, meanwhile, have not beaten Fraser Park away since the merger of the League Three Men’s and League Two Men’s competitions but will hope to come out with a strong belief they can grab just their second win of the season.

Nepean FC vs South Coast Flame FC

Friday, 22 May 2026 – 8pm, Jamison Park

8th-placed Nepean FC snapped their eight-match winless run after a 2-1 away win over Granville Rage last week and will hope to surpass South Coast Flame FC on the ladder in what is a tight table, Toby Witjes continuing to lead the line for them following his double last week, taking him to 12 goals this season.

5th-placed Flame, meanwhile, have the equal-best defence this season and will hope to return to winning ways in their bid to compete amongst the pack, looking to exact revenge over Nepean after their opening round defeat at the hands of them.

Mounties Wanderers FC vs Granville Rage

Friday, 22 May 2026 – 8pm, Cook Park (Mt Pritchard)

League-leaders Mounties Wanderers FC will hope to complete the league double over Granville Rage and maintain their 12-point buffer atop the league ladder, the league’s top scorer for the season so far in Patrick Antelmi looking to add to his 14 goals this year following yet another last week.

7th-placed Granville Rage, meanwhile, have lost three of their past four matches which, among the inconsistent form of the teams around them, put them among a tight pack, where a win this week could take them as high as 4th and a loss could drop them to as low as 11th.

Hawkesbury City FC vs Dunbar Rovers FC

Saturday, 23 May 2026 – 5pm, David Bertenshaw Field

10th-placed Hawkesbury City FC returned to the winners’ list last week and with their form now reading three wins from their past five matches, will be confident of completing the league double and going four head-to-head matches unbeaten against Dunbar.

6th-placed Dunbar Rovers FC, meanwhile, returned to winning ways last week and have also won three of their past five; they will hope for a win which could take them to as high as 2nd on the ladder, while a loss could see them drop to 9th.

Inner West Hawks FC vs Bankstown United FC

Saturday, 23 May 2026 – 5pm, Arlington Oval

12th-placed Inner West Hawks FC lost a fourth-straight match last week and will hope to return to winning ways against a side they have not beaten since 2023 – Bankstown United FC.

11th-placed Bankstown, meanwhile, saw their run of back-to-back home wins end last week but will hope to grab victory in their first away match since Round 10, where a win could take them to as high as 7th on the ladder.

Gladesville Ryde Magic vs Sydney University SFC

Saturday, 23 May 2026 – 5:30pm, Christie Park

14th-placed Gladesville Ryde Magic will hope to return from their bye last week to grab back-to-back victories against a Sydney University SFC side they defeated away from home in the opening match of the season.

9th-placed Sydney Uni, meanwhile, suffered a loss to end their three-match winning streak last week but will be confident of picking up the three points, the students hoping to hold their heads high after their last-gasp loss last week, looking to show fight and win a sixth match from their past eight.

3rd-placed Parramatta FC have a bye in Round 16.
