Round 19 delivered shock results across the board, with no home winners recorded and the ladder in the 2026 Football NSW League Two Men’s season tightening further.

The Match of the Round saw the promotion battle take another twist as Dunbar Rovers FC overcame Nepean FC, while elsewhere the fight for second place continued to intensify.

Match of the Round: Nepean FC 0-2 Dunbar Rovers FC

Dunbar Rovers FC claimed a major scalp with a crucial back-to-back win, taking a 2-0 away victory over Nepean FC thanks to goals in either half.

Dunbar started the match brightly in possession and opened the scoring in the 23rd minute through 19-year-old Erik Hamlat, who was a late inclusion after replacing Guilherme Mazurkievicz Pansonato, injured in the warm-up.

Hamlat delivered a cross into the box for Zachary Marinos, who headed home to give the visitors a 1-0 lead.

Nepean looked dangerous in transition and forced Dunbar goalkeeper Benjamin Wrigley into a strong save in the first half, with Dunbar holding a 1-0 advantage at the break.

Dunbar made their substitutes count late in the match, with Julian Dal Bianco finding 20-year-old Dion Bregianos from a cut-back. Bregianos struck across goal and into the back of the net to seal a 2-0 lead late on.

The visitors saw out the remainder of the match from there, with Nepean reduced to ten men in the 86th minute when defender Marly Petrie was shown a red card, as Dunbar completed the league double over Nepean with a 2-0 win.

The result saw Nepean drop from 4th to 5th on the ladder on 27 points, three points behind 2nd-placed Parramatta FC, while Dunbar rose above Nepean into 4th on 28 points, just two points behind Parramatta.

Nepean will look to bounce back when they travel to face Gladesville Ryde Magic next week, while Dunbar will aim for another big result when they host Camden Tigers FC.
