Round 20 Preview – League Two Men’s
A top-of-the-table clash and other crucial matches in the battle for promotion headline
Round 20 of the 2026 Football NSW League Two Men’s season, with plenty of teams still in the running looking to make the most of their opportunities.
Match of the Round: Hawkesbury City FC vs Fraser Park FC
Saturday, 20 June 2026 – 5pm, David Bertenshaw Field
A battle between two sides in the hunt for promotion sees Hawkesbury City FC looking to get revenge over the team that beat them earlier in the season, Fraser Park FC.
7th-placed Hawkesbury City FC went a fourth match unbeaten after their 1-1 draw away to South Coast Flame FC last week and will hope to take all three points at home, where they have scored 24 of their 35 goals this season. A win for Hawkesbury could see them rise as high as 4th on the ladder, while a loss could drop them to 10th.
3rd-placed Fraser Park FC, meanwhile, have only conceded 19 goals all season — the second-best record in the league — and will hope to bounce back from their last-start loss to potentially rise to 2nd place. A defeat, however, would bring the teams around them closer or see them overtaken.
With Fraser Park aiming to complete the league double after their earlier win over Hawkesbury, and Hawkesbury seeking revenge at home, both sides will be pushing for a crucial result in the promotion race.
Mounties Wanderers FC vs Parramatta FC
Friday, 19 June 2026 – 8pm, Cook Park (Mt Pritchard)
League leaders Mounties Wanderers FC will aim to overcome one of only two teams to have beaten them this season in Parramatta FC, taking another step closer to the league title and promotion. Mounties currently sit 16 points clear at the top on 46 points.
2nd-placed Parramatta FC will be hoping to complete the league double over Mounties following their 6-0 win in Round 5, while also extending their one-point buffer in 2nd place. Parramatta sit on 30 points, with only four points separating them from the chasing pack in the top half.
Sydney University SFC vs Inner West Hawks FC
Friday, 19 June 2026 – 8pm, Sydney University Football Ground
10th-placed Sydney University SFC will look to return to winning ways after conceding late to draw 1-1 with Granville Rage last week. They will be hopeful of taking all three points against a side they defeated at home last season in Inner West Hawks FC.
13th-placed Inner West, meanwhile, suffered back-to-back defeats after their 2-0 home loss to Gladesville Ryde Magic last week. They will aim to take their chances and cut out costly errors as they look to complete the league double over University.
Bankstown United FC vs Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC
Saturday, 20 June 2026 – 5pm, Padstow Park
14th-placed Bankstown United FC will hope to snap a five-match winless run and get revenge over Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC, who defeated them 5-0 earlier in the season. A win could lift them as high as 9th on the ladder.
6th-placed Bonnyrigg, meanwhile, are winless in their last three matches but will return from their bye last week aiming to regain form. A win could see them rise to 4th, while a loss could drop them as low as 10th.
Central Coast United FC vs Granville Rage
Saturday, 20 June 2026 – 5pm, Pluim Park
11th-placed Central Coast United FC will aim to extend their strong run of five wins from their past six matches. A victory could lift them as high as 6th and keep them firmly in the promotion hunt.
8th-placed Granville Rage will hope to complete the league double for the second straight year over Central Coast, with a win potentially lifting them to 5th. A loss could see them drop as low as 11th.
Gladesville Ryde Magic vs Nepean FC
Saturday, 20 June 2026 – 5pm, Christie Park
12th-placed Gladesville Ryde Magic will aim to win a fourth match from their past five, continuing their strong mid-season form as they look to stay in the promotion hunt. A win could see them rise as high as 8th, while a loss could drop them to 14th.
5th-placed Nepean FC will aim to complete the league double over Gladesville for the second season in a row. They will look to bounce back from their last-start defeat and climb as high as 3rd, while a loss could see them drop to 8th.
Dunbar Rovers FC vs Camden Tigers FC
Saturday, 20 June 2026 – 7pm, Rockdale Ilinden Sports Centre
4th-placed Dunbar Rovers FC will aim to secure a win that could lift them as high as 2nd, while avoiding a drop as low as 8th, when they host Camden Tigers FC.
Last-placed Camden earned just their seventh point of the season last week in their draw with Bankstown United FC and will hope to cause an upset. They will look to repeat their 2025 away win over Dunbar and shake up the promotion race.
Bye
9th-placed South Coast Flame FC have the bye in Round 20.
