Girls Talent Support Program Coaching Applications Now Open

Football NSW is inviting suitably qualified coaches to apply for coaching and player identification positions in its Girls Talent Support Program (GTSP) for the 2020 season.

Following the implementation of TSP for Boys in 2018 and coinciding with a review of elite Womens football in NSW, Football NSW will introduce TSP for Girls in 2020. Importantly, given that TSP will be delivered locally – through the establishment of several hubs across Metropolitan NSW (North, South, East and West) and within key areas of Country NSW – it will reduce the need for players (and their parents) to travel long distances to participate in a centralised program.

The prime focus of the FNSW GTSP is to support the ongoing development of talented FNSW female athletes to progress to the next level within the FFA national player pathway.

The purpose of the role is to identify and provide more talented footballers with the opportunity to develop and progress through the Girls Talented Player Pathway (TPP). The elite TSP coaches will work with the Football NSW (FNSW) Technical Department to deliver a high-level training program and create an elite learning environment.

Dates
The 2020 Football NSW GTSP will commence in Term 1 2020, and coaches will be contracted for two blocks until December 2020. Training and elite games will be held on a Monday night. Training will be local and elite matches will be central at VSP.

Coaches will be required to conduct one double session/elite match for each week as it falls and may be required to perform talent identification in the Womens NPL 1 and 2.

There will be no trials for GTSP. Selection into the program is based on identification.

Remuneration will be;

$100 per session/elite game and $50 per identification match.
