Round 24 Preview – League Two Men’s
The league title could be decided in Round 24 of the 2026 Football NSW League Two Men’s season, with Mounties Wanderers FC looking to begin their celebrations early.
The league leaders can secure the championship and earn promotion back to the League One Men’s competition at the first time of asking, but they will need to overcome Gladesville Ryde Magic in the Match of the Round.
Match of the Round: Gladesville Ryde Magic vs Mounties Wanderers FC
Saturday, 18 July 2026 – 5pm, Christie Park
Mounties Wanderers FC can secure the 2026 League Two Men’s title and promotion when they travel to face Gladesville Ryde Magic on Saturday afternoon.
13th-placed Gladesville have endured a difficult run of form, suffering three consecutive defeats, but they will be determined to delay Mounties’ celebrations and climb the ladder.
A win for Gladesville could see them rise two places to 11th, while a defeat would leave them in 13th position.
League leaders Mounties will be aiming to complete the league double over Gladesville and secure the title six weeks before the end of the season.
A victory would give Mounties an unassailable 20-point lead at the top of the table with just 18 points remaining to play for. A draw or defeat, however, would mean they would need to wait another week to officially claim the championship.
This could be a historic night for Mounties as they look to return to the League One Men’s competition and add silverware to their collection, while Gladesville will be hoping to spoil the party on their home ground.
Nepean FC vs Fraser Park FC

11th-placed Nepean FC return from their bye looking to bounce back and end a four-match losing streak as they aim to move back towards the top half of the ladder.
A win for Nepean could see them climb as high as eighth, while a defeat could see them drop to 13th.
Fifth-placed Fraser Park FC reignited their promotion push last week with a 3-1 victory over Inner West Hawks FC and will hope their new signings continue to make an impact.
A win for Fraser Park could see them rise as high as second, while a defeat could see them fall outside the top half of the table to eighth.
South Coast Flame FC vs Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC

Eighth-placed South Coast Flame FC have returned to the promotion race following back-to-back victories and two consecutive clean sheets.
The Flame will be looking to continue their strong defensive form, with a win potentially lifting them as high as fifth, while a loss could see them drop to 11th.
Third-placed Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC received a boost in their push for second place following their victory last week and Parramatta FC’s defeat.
The White Eagles are now in a strong position to overtake the teams ahead of them, with a win potentially moving them into second place for the first time since Round 16.
A defeat could see Bonnyrigg drop as low as fifth.
Central Coast United FC vs Bankstown United FC
Saturday, 18 July 2026 – 5pm, Pluim Park
10th-placed Central Coast United FC have seen their promotion hopes take a hit following back-to-back defeats but will be determined to respond against Bankstown United FC.
The Pirates will be searching for their first victory over Bankstown in five head-to-head meetings.
A win could lift Central Coast as high as seventh, while a defeat could see them drop to 11th.
Bankstown United are winless in their past eight matches but will be hoping their strong record against Central Coast can inspire a turnaround.
A victory could move Bankstown within one point of the teams above them, while another defeat would keep them in 14th place.
Inner West Hawks FC vs Parramatta FC

12th-placed Inner West Hawks FC will look to shake up the promotion race when they host Parramatta FC in a battle of the birds.
The Hawks will be aiming to complete the league double over Parramatta, with a victory potentially lifting them to 11th place.
A defeat could see them drop to 13th.
Second-placed Parramatta FC suffered their third defeat in five matches last weekend and will be looking to avoid another setback as promotion contenders continue to close the gap.
A win could see Parramatta extend their advantage in second place to four points, while a defeat could see them fall as low as fourth.
Granville Rage vs Hawkesbury City FC

Camden Tigers FC vs Sydney University SFC

Last-placed Camden Tigers FC will be searching for their first victory over Sydney University SFC in five attempts as they look to secure just their second win of the season.
A victory would end Camden’s 15-match winless run, with their last win coming in Round Seven.
Seventh-placed Sydney University SFC enter the contest full of confidence after recording their biggest-ever League Two Men’s victory, an 8-0 away win over Hawkesbury City FC last weekend.
University will be looking to continue their momentum in the promotion race, with a win potentially lifting them as high as fourth.
A defeat could see them drop to 10th.
Dunbar Rovers FC have the bye in Round 24.
