Wollongong Community Football Club finds a home
Although the club still do not have a permanent home ground to call our own, we are pleased to announce a significant community partnership with the Fraternity Club in Fairy Meadow.
?The partnership with the Fraternity represents a serious commitment by both parties to build football in the Illawarra,? said Vic Cuoco, WCFC Spokesperson, ?the Fraternity have come up with a significant cash sponsorship deal and in addition to this will be assisting us with new and diverse ways with which we can bring funds into the club.?
It is believed that the value of the sponsorship will equate to a significant sum. WCFC will be relocating their temporary offices at Lysaghts to the Fraternity Club by April.
The Fraternity Club recently hosted the Rock 4 Football promotion, where WCFC offered the community 5 local band live for $5. WCFC and the Fraternity Club now aim to build on the success of this promotion and hope to make more announcements soon.
?Everyone knows what a great supporter of Football the Frat has been over the years. We urge all football fans to repay that support and join the only club in the Illawarra that truly does put football first.?
