Super Youth League Round 6 Review
The weather was great over weekend and so we were able to play a full round of football without interruption. That has meant that there is some stability in the appearance of the tables as they begin to take their true shape. However, a reminder that we may need to wait for the catch-up games to be played before we will gain an accurate picture.
Club Championship
Schofields Scorpions retained the lead on the table when they bagged nine points from their clash with ninth placed Granville Rage while Bonnyrigg White Eagles are still second after they helped themselves to nine points from their visit to Western Panthers whose six points share forced them back from third to fifth.
Central Coast Lightning moved up one place to third thanks to their eleven points haul at Southern NSW who fell back two places to eighth and Dulwich Hill dropped back one position to sixth when they earned only six points from Northern Tigers who used their nine points to go up one place to tenth.
PCYC Parramatta Eagles flew from seventh to fourth when they grabbed all the points from their encounter with last placed St George and Spirit FC moved upward on place when they took nine points from Sydney Wanderers who have gone from tenth to eleventh.
Grade 13
Central Coast Lightning moved up one place to take the competition lead thanks to a 4-2 victory over Southern NSW who have tumbled from fourth to eighth while Granville Rage slipped back to second on goal difference when they were beaten 4-2 by Schofields Scorpions who have climbed from sixth to fifth.
Bonnyrigg White Eagles went from fifth to third when they were 2-0 winners over Western Panthers who dropped from third to seventh and PCYC Parramatta Eagles zoomed from seventh to fourth with a 3-0 result over tenth placed St George.
Sydney Wanderers went up two places to sixth after their 2-1 success over Spirit FC who fell back one place to eleventh and Dulwich Hill moved up from eleventh to ninth with a 2-1 win over Northern Tigers who took the reverse route back to eleventh.
Grade 14
Schofields Scorpions captured the competition lead with a 1-0 result over tenth placed Granville Rage while Bonnyrigg White Eagles fell back to second after their 1-1 draw with third placed Western Panthers.
Northern Tigers rose one place to fourth when they were 2-0 winners over Dulwich Hill who dropped from fourth to sixth and PCYC Parramatta Eagles climbed from sixth to fifth thanks to a 2-1 victory over St George who went back one place to ninth.
Spirit FC are still in seventh place after they produced a 1-0 win over eleventh placed Sydney Wanderers while Central Coast Lightning moved from ninth to eighth with a 3-0 result over last placed Southern NSW.
Grade 15
Schofields Scorpions are four points clear at the top of the table after they came up with a 4-1 scoreline over Granville Rage who have fallen from eleventh to twelfth and PCYC Parramatta Eagles rocketed from sixth to second with a 2-0 victory over St George who went back one place to eleventh.
Southern NSW fell back one spot to third after they played out a 2-2 draw with Central Coast Lightning who were forced back one place to fourth while Bonnyrigg White Eagles dropped from fourth to fifth when they were held to a 1-1 draw by eighth placed Western Panthers.
Northern Tigers went up one place to sixth when they were 1-0 winners over Dulwich Hill who fell from fifth to seventh and Spirit FC shot from twelfth to ninth with a first of the season win, a stunning 5-0 result over Sydney Wanderers who have gone from ninth to tenth.
Grade 16
Bonnyrigg White Eagles held onto the competition lead by a single point when they came up with a surprisingly narrow 1-0 win over last placed Western Panthers and Granville Rage moved up one position to second with a 2-1 success over Schofields Scorpions who have dropped from second to fifth.
Dulwich Hill went from fourth to third when they produced a 2-0 win over Northern Tigers who dropped one place to tenth while Sydney Wanderers soared from seventh to fourth with a 2-1 victory over Spirit FC who have fallen back one place to sixth.
Southern NSW went from sixth to seventh when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Central Coast Lightning who have fallen from eighth to ninth and PCYC Parramatta Eagles scooted from eleventh to eight thanks to their first win of the season, a 3-1 result over St George who have gone from tenth to eleventh.
Grade 18
Central Coast Lightning have a lead of three points at the top of the table after they were 3-0 winners over Southern NSW who dropped one place to ninth while Spirit FC climbed up one place to second with a 3-0 win over Sydney Wanderers who have gone from seventh to eighth.
Western Panthers fell back to third when they played out a scoreless draw with Bonnyrigg White Eagles who dropped from fourth to fifth and PCYC Parramatta Eagles moved up two places to fourth thanks to a 1-0 victory over St George who are now in last place.
Northern Tigers scooted from ninth to sixth with a 2-1 success over tenth placed Dulwich Hill while Schofields Scorpions fell back two places after they went down 3-1 to Granville Rage for whom this was the first win for the season.
