Football Superstar kicks off on Fox 8

After a Nation-wide search, the reality program will give 15 finalists aged 16-20 the chance to win a contract with Sydney FC, as part of the Hyundai A-League club?s new National Youth League team.
Contestants will be put through daily challenges aimed at testing their football ability, and face weekly eliminations that will ultimately leave only one player standing.
The winner will not only earn the opportunity to kick-start his professional football career with Sydney FC, but will also gain a scholarship with Macquarie University, and a National endorsement deal with Kelloggs? cerial brand, Nutri-grain.
?Football Superstar? will run for eight weeks on Fox 8, with the one-hour episodes screening from 7:30pm on Thursday nights.
