Tiger Turf Cup Round 2 updated

State League 1 side Inter Lions defeated Northern Beaches Association side Collaroy Cromer Strikers 2-1 at St. Matthews Farm Reserve. The Lions parted company with coach Michael Urukalo and had Ernesto Meduri in charge where he got his side through to round 3 of the prestigious Cup tournament. Goals from Adrian Vizzari and Yoshi Tachi secured a round 3 spot for the Inter squad.
Southern Districts Association side Fairfield Hotspurs? run in the Cup came to an unfortunate end after they went crashing down 3-0 to State League 2 side Camden Tigers at Smithfield Park.
In what was a battle of the State League two clubs, Springwood defeated Bathurst 75 2-1 to keep their Cup dreams alive at Summerhayes Park.
Super League high flyers PCYC Parramatta Eagles put on the majority of their Under 20?s side as they defeated State League 1 side Stanmore Hawks thanks to a goal from midfielder Chris Camilleri.
State League 1 side Dulwich Hill took down Super League side Mt Druitt Town Rangers 2-0 at Popnedetta Park.
While in the evening?s other round 2 clash, State League 2 side Roosters FC ended the dream run of Eastern Suburbs Association side Lokomotiv Cove with a hard fought 1-0 victory at Mona Park.
Roosters FC battled till the end with nine-men on the pitch after two players were sent off during the course of the game but managed to hold off a spirited Cove side.
In the Round 1 rescheduled Tiger Turf Cup matches Northern Beaches Association side Brookvale defeated Sydney Amateur side Baktar Glory 4-0 while Gladesville Hornsby Association side Pacific/Dural took a huge scalp in defeating State League 2 side Fairfield Bulls.
The remaining round 2 Tiger Turf Cup matches will be played on the 5th/6th May.
