The current NSW U13 boys and U14 girl?s squads are also attending a continuation program one (1) night a week with up to 6 invited players attending at a time for trials and assessment. Talented players in the U13 Boys and U14 Girls age groups from youth league football will be continually identified by Football NSW scouts and be invited to train and trial with the U13 Boys and U14 Girls Scholarship Squads. In addition all clubs are welcome to recommend players to FNSW for assessment on Monday nights. Please contact Alex Butt for player recommendations players at alexb@footballnsw.com.au
The State Titles are the premier Identification Tournaments in which FNSW staff identify and select players for elite programs.
Talented players in addition to those already in the U10, U11 and U12?s Scholarship squads will be identified and invited to attend designated trial and assessment nights every two weeks at Valentine Sports Park. Clubs can recommend players to Tim Wilson at timw@footballnsw.com.au for these age groups. All players identified to trial will be given verbal feedback on their performance by FNSW Staff coaches. Players successful in the trial process will be invited to join the Scholarship Squads.
All players in FNSW Scholarship Programs will be subject to an assessment week starting 27th July during which players will be assessed and positions in the program will be re allocated.
