Phillip Makrys comes home to Sydney Olympic

Phillip has always been touted to return to the club he once played for and still loves and this year he has made the move to join the blue and whites for 2010. Phillip was on one of the key players Pat Marando wanted to bring to the club to add to the majority of the 2009 squad who have already indicated they want to remain with the club. 
Makrys did receive higher offers from a couple of other clubs in the NSW Premier League but has taken a wage reduction after discussions with Sydney Olympic Club President George Giannaros.
This highlights the passion Phillip Makrys has for Olympic and we wish him all the success in 2010 and beyond.
