Champion of Champions Quarter-Finals draw released
This follows over 100 matches played on Sunday 20th October at venues across the Sydney metropolitan area.
Of major interest was the outstanding form of many Country teams making it through the first two rounds against their city opposition. Country teams that will host matches in their home town next Sunday include, Cootamundra 14 boys, Orana Spurs (Dubbo) 18 men, Macquarie United (Bathurst) 14 girls and North Griffith All Age Women.
Shoalhaven (Nowra) are represented by four teams in the Quarter Finals with Culburra 14 girls, Culburra 16 girls, Milton Ulladulla All Age women and Milton Ulladulla 18 men.
Central Coast still have twelve teams remaining and Illawarra are in with a big chance with eleven teams alive which only emphasizes the standard of talent available in both these fringe areas of Sydney.
Due to the upcoming Worlds Masters Games, the Over 35, Over 45 and Over 30 Women competitions are at Semi Finals stage.
The Over 35s will see Fairfield Colts play All Saints United while Collaroy Cromer Strikers will do battle against Marrickville.
The Over 45 Semis will pit St George against Chatswood Rangers with Gladesville Hornsby taking on Balmain.
In the over 30 Women Southern Districts play Gladesville Ravens and Manly-Warringah face Marayong Sports.
