Tolgay Ozbey takes out Robbie Slater Medal

Ozbey, who previously won the title with Blacktown City, stepped up to score his side?s winning goal and seal another trophy for the Blacktown side.
Ozbey, who finished the season as the top goalscorer with 22 goals from his 21 appearances for Blacktown City FC, received the accolade following his side?s triumph against Bonnyrigg White Eagles.
The Blacktown City striker spearheaded his side?s attack and went close on two occasions in the first-half, denied by some strong defending, and expert goalkeeping, from Phillip Zabaks.
Following the break, Ozbey continued to cause grief amongst the White Eagles defence with his pace and ability on the ball creating an additional two chances for himself, before turning provider for teammate Mitch Long midway through the half.
Ozbey scored his side?s match winner in the 77? minute, via the penalty-spot, drilling home his effort past Zabaks to seal the deal for Blacktown City FC.
Following the match, Ozbey expressed his delight at winning the Robbie Slater medal, and the 2010 NSW Premier League Championship.
?I don?t know what to say, this is a fantastic achievement for the club, and for a fantastic group of players.
?I am pleased with this award, and it is a reflection of the team?s efforts this season,? ended Ozbey.
The Robbie Slater Man of the Match award was prompted to honour the tough tackling former Socceroo who spent his early years developing as a footballer in NSW before moving abroad to further his playing career.
