Sutherland Sharks launch 2011 season with a bang

The venue have been long time sponsors of the Sharks and once again presented a cheque to Sutherland Sharks General Manager George Hurley who was also presented with his Life Membership on the evening.
In a further boost for the Shire based club major sponsor Pipe King reiterated their commitment to further develop Seymour Shaw Park for the benefit of the local football community.
In other Sharks news, former North Queensland Fury star midfielder Panny Nikas has penned a deal with the club.
Nikas joins new recruits Matt Bailey, Lachlan Cahill, Ehsan Popal and Nick Tsattalios who with the existing players, will ensure that spectators at the Shire will be in for some entertaining football in 2011.
