It is therefore understandable that the various competition tables are in a real mess with some teams having played only five games and very few indeed have completed the full schedule of matches.
Overview
Sydney Olympic enjoyed their trip to Bankstown City where they bagged eleven of the available points while APIA Leichhardt Tigers and Parramatta Eagles shared the points at seven apiece and South Coast Wolves took seven points from their clash with Rockdale City Suns on a day when four of the matches ended in draws. 
Marconi Stallions grabbed ten points from the four matches played against Blacktown City on Saturday and then the Stallions added three more points from the Sunday match.
The four Saturday matches added nine points to the tally of Manly United when they were at home to Bonnyrigg White Eagles and then the Sunday match gave Manly the other three points.
Sutherland Sharks pocketed all twelve points from their four Saturday games at Sydney United and then they completed the clean-sweep when they bagged the points on Sunday.
So far, Sutherland Sharks are the best performed PYL club and they are closely followed by Parramatta Eagles and Marconi Stallions. Then comes Manly United, Sydney Olympic and APIA Leichhardt Tigers.
In the next group are South Coast Wolves, Bankstown City and Blacktown City with the bottom three being Sydney United, Bonnyrigg White Eagles and Rockdale City Suns.
Grade 13
Unbeaten Bankstown City are leading the way on the table even though they dropped points for the first time when they were held to a scoreless draw by sixth placed Sydney Olympic while APIA Leichhardt Tigers are in second spot following their 1-0 success over fifth placed Parramatta Eagles.
Marconi Stallions are in third position after they accounted for twelfth placed Blacktown City with a 3-0 scoreline and Sutherland Sharks are fourth after they retained their unbeaten status with a 2-1 victory over tenth placed Sydney United.
Seventh placed South Coast Wolves were held to a 1-1 draw by Rockdale City Suns who are eleventh and Manly United are eight thanks to their first win for the season, a 2-0 result over ninth placed Bonnyrigg White Eagles.
Grade 14
Marconi Stallions have a perfect record of five wins from as many games and they are the competition frontrunners after their 2-1 win over eighth placed Blacktown City while Sydney Olympic are in second spot thanks to their 2-0 result over ninth placed Bankstown City
Third placed Sutherland Sharks came up with a 2-1 victory over Sydney United who are twelfth and Parramatta Eagles are in fourth place following their scoreless draw with APIA Leichhardt Tigers who are in tenth position.
South Coast Wolves are occupying fifth position after they battled out a scoreless draw with sixth placed Rockdale City Suns while Manly United are seventh following their 3-1 success over eleventh placed Bonnyrigg White Eagles.
Grade 15
At the top of the ladder are Sutherland Sharks after they were 3-0 winners over eighth placed Sydney United and Sydney Olympic are in second position following their 1-0 result over tenth placed Bankstown City.
Parramatta Eagles are placed third after they went down 1-0 to APIA Leichhardt Tigers who are fifth thanks to their 2-1 Round 2 catch-up victory over Bonnyrigg White Eagles.
Fourth placed Marconi Stallions fought out a 1-1 draw with Blacktown City who are ninth while sixth placed Bonnyrigg White Eagles extended their unbeaten run to three games when they came up with a 3-1 result over seventh placed Manly United.
In the battle from the foot of the table eleventh placed South Coast Wolves drew 0-0 with twelfth placed Rockdale City Suns.
Grade 16
Sutherland Sharks are in first place on the table with a perfect record of five wins from five games after they accounted for eighth placed Sydney United with a 5-2 scoreline while APIA Leichhardt Tigers are second thanks to their 3-1 success over Parramatta Eagles who are fifth.
Third placed Manly United were 4-1 winners when they faced tenth placed Bonnyrigg White Eagles and Bankstown City are sixth following their 2-1 defeat at the hands of Sydney Olympic who are in seventh spot.
Marconi Stallions are fourth after they produced a 1-0 victory over eleventh placed Blacktown City while ninth placed South Coast Wolves were 5-3 winners over twelfth placed Rockdale City Suns.
Grade 18
Bankstown City and Sydney Olympic fought it out for a 2-2 draw and Parramatta Eagles came up with a 1-0 win over APIA Leichhardt Tigers while the match between Rockdale City Suns and South Coast Wolves ended in a scoreless draw.
Marconi Stallions produced a 1-0 success over Blacktown City and Manly United were 4-1 winners when they faced Bonnyrigg White Eagles while Sutherland Sharks accounted for Sydney United with a 6-2 scoreline.
Those results mean that Manly United are the competition leaders with Blacktown City and Parramatta Eagles in hot pursuit and they are followed by South Coast Wolves, Sutherland Sharks and Sydney Olympic.
The next group is headed by APIA Leichhardt Tigers, Marconi Stallions and Bonnyrigg White Eagles and the final group is Sydney United, Bankstown City and Rockdale City Suns.
