JDP Program 2011-2012

We are pleased to announce the Football NSW development programs for 2011 – 2012.
As you may be aware there have been significant changes recently with the Elite Development programs. The main two relate to the number of sessions and cost which have both been reduced.
The recently introduced Skill Acquisition Program (SAP) is directed at players aged under 9 to 12 years and the development programs starts from under 9 to 12 years. FNSW will again offer players the chance to be involved in this under pinning program to SAP for the ages under 9 to 12?s.
This program will ensure that players receive the necessary coaching in order for them to progress alongside the SAP Program It is the intention that the under pinning programs will work closely with the SAP Programs.
At times if coaches believe a player is performing very well in the development program, he/she may be promoted from time to time which should create a competitive environment between both programs.

The squads will not be picked by trial process, but all players who express interest will be offered 2 or 3 nights free coaching in Week 1 as an assessment week with the coach of the squad who will than select the players he wishes to take into his/her squad.
Once this process is completed, payment will then be required.
Assessment week is likely to be in December but full details of the dates and nights will be confirmed at a later date.
