The beautiful weekend weather allowed all the matches schedule for this penultimate round to be played and now the stage is set for the final decisions to be made next weekend on which teams will qualify for the finals series and which will complete their commitments to the competition.
IGA National Premier League NSW Men’s 1 – Overview
When Sutherland Sharks met Manly United last time around the northern beaches club made off with thirteen of the points but this time the Sharks had to settle for ten points from the clash. 
Blacktown Spartans pinched nine points from their first round meeting with neighbouring Blacktown City but it was a bit different this time as City bagged nine points from the fixture.
Sydney United 58 claimed eleven points last time they faced their neighbours, Marconi Stallions and there was more of the same as United took ten points from the encounter this time around.
Sydney Olympic pocketed twelve points from their first round encounter with Bonnyrigg White Eagles but this time Olympic were forced to settle for nine points from the fixture
APIA Leichhardt Tigers went home with twelve points from their last meeting with South Coast Wolves and the Tigers went on to claim fourteen points this time around.
Central Coast Mariners had split the first round spoils with Rockdale City Suns with each club taking eight points but on this occasion the Mainers collected fourteen points.
Sydney Olympic collected thirteen points from the first round engagement with the Football NSW Institute but Olympic settled for ten points this weekend.
IGA National Premier League NSW Men’s 1 – Club Championship
Sutherland Sharks came into this round as the leaders on this table by a margin of twelve points and Manly United were in fifth place. Manly had bagged seven points last time they faced the Sharks but this time the Sharks nabbed eight points from the day. The Sharks are still leading the way by twelve points while Manly have held onto fifth position.
Blacktown City started the day in second place and they were only one point ahead of third placed Blacktown Spartans. When they met last time the Spartans grabbed eight points from the day but that was reversed this week when City claimed eight points. The clubs remained where they were on the table but the margin between them is now seven points. 
Sydney United 58 arrived at this round in fourth position and they had claimed seven points from their first round matches against ninth placed Marconi Stallions and United did it again, once again taking seven points from the day. That left United at fourth but it pushed the Stallions back to tenth.
Placed sixth before a ball was kicked on the day, Sydney Olympic and seventh placed Bonnyrigg White Eagles had shared the points last time with each club taking six points from the clash. History repeated when the clubs split the points at five apiece this week. Olympic have held onto sixth spot but Bonnyrigg are now eighth.
APIA Leichhardt Tigers began the day in eighth position but they could only manage to take two points from their first round matches against tenth placed South Coast Wolves who accepted eight points as their share of the spoils. It was a very different story this time as the Tigers pocketed ten points from the encounter. The Tigers have climbed to seventh and the Wolves have moved up to ninth.
Eleventh placed Central Coast Mariners and twelfth placed Rockdale City Suns gained five points each from their first round encounter but this time around the Mariners claimed ten points from the clash. Both clubs remained where they were on the table.

Blacktown City were the competition leaders on goal difference when this game kicked off and Blacktown Spartans were in second place. The first round match had finished in a 1-1 draw and the teams could not be separated once again as this week’s game ended in a scoreless draw. This result leaves both teams where they were on the ladder.
Manly United arrived at this match in third place and they were 2-0 winners last time they faced sixth placed Sutherland Sharks who were only one point outside the top five. This week the teams finished their match with the scores tied up at 0-0. Manly remained at third but the Sharks slipped back to seventh and they are now three points outside the top five.
South Coast Wolves when in fourth place when the first whistle sounded and they had suffered a 1-0 loss to seventh placed APIA Leichhardt Tigers last time the teams saw each other. The Tigers did it again, this time recording a 2-1 victory. The Wolves have managed to hold onto fourth place and the Tigers have moved up to sixth and they are only on point short of the top five.
Placed fifth at kick-off time, Sydney United 58 had shaded tenth placed Marconi Stallions with a 2-1 scoreline in their first round clash. United took the points again this time when they produced a 5-2 win. United’s goals came from G. Antonis, M. Marcic, N. Milanovic, D. Sekulic and A. Prabakrishnan M. while the gaols for the Stallions were scored by Self and A. Jafari. This leaves United at fifth and the Stallions have dropped back to eleventh. 
Bonnyrigg White Eagles came into this game in eighth place and they had suffered a 3-2 loss last time they faced ninth placed Sydney Olympic who collected the points once again when they were 2-1 winners this week. The teams have now swapped places on the table.
In the clash from the foot of the table eleventh placed Rockdale City Suns and twelfth placed Central Coast Mariners had fought out a 1-1 draw when they met in the first round. Once again, there was nothing between the teams as Saturday’s match ended in a scoreless draw. The Suns have climbed to tenth and the Mariners have remained at the foot of the table.

Sutherland Sharks had a lead of two points at the top of the table when this game started and Manly United were in second place. The first round points had gone to Manly when they were 2-0 winners but this week the teams settled for a share of the points when their match finished at 1-1. The scorer for the Sarks was J. Skotadis and K. Conna found the net for Manly. Both teams remained where they were on the table. 
Blacktown Spartans began the day in third place and they had battled out a 1-1 first round draw with sixth placed Blacktown City who were only two points outside the top five. History repeated but this time it was a high scoring nail-biter which ended in a 3-3 draw. The Spartans have retained third place and City are still sixth but they are now only one point short of a place in the play-offs.
South Coast Wolves were in fourth position at kick-off time and they had fought out a nail-biting 3-3 draw with ninth placed APIA Leichhardt Tigers last time around. History repeated as this week the teams battled out a scoreless draw. Both teams held their places on the table.
When the first whistle sounded on Saturday Sydney United 58 were in fifth place and they had played out a scoreless first round draw with seventh placed Marconi Stallions. However, this time around the Stallions bagged all the points when they won 1-0 thanks to a strike from C. Cuelho. That has left United at fifth and the Stallions at seventh.
Sydney Olympic came into this match in eighth position and they were up against Bonnyrigg White Eagles who were eleventh. The first round points went to Olympic with a 2-0 scoreline but the teams split the points this week after they battled out a 1-1 draw. Both teams remained where they were on the table.
Olympic were also due to play the twelfth placed Football NSW Institute who they had beaten 4-0 last time around. Olympic took the points once again when they were 4-2 winners but the result did not affect the position of either team. 
Tenth placed Central Coast Mariners faced thirteenth placed Rockdale City Suns after the first round points had gone to the Mariners with a 1-0 result. The Mariners completed the double when they posted a handy 3-0 victory on Saturday. Neither team moved on the table.

Sutherland Sharks were two points clear at the top of the table when their match against eleventh placed Manly United kicked off. The Sharks had collected the first round points with a 1-0 win and they repeated that effort with a 3-1 success this time around. Sutherland’s goals were scored by H. Callahan (2) and J. Bell while R. Kilpatrick netted for Manly. The Sharks have increased their competition leading margin to three points and Manly are still placed eleventh.

Olympic were also due to play the eighth placed Football NSW Institute who had suffered a 4-0 loss in the first round clash. This time the match ended in a scoreless draw and while it did not affect Olympic, the Institute has moved up to seventh.

However, City squared the ledger when they registered a 2-1 win over the Spartans on Saturday. The Spartans have slipped back to fifth and City are still placed sixth.

The Suns were 1-0 winners when the teams met last time but the tables were turned this time around when the Mariners were 2-0 winners. As a result, the Mariners have climbed to fourth and the Suns have dropped back to eighth.

This week the teams shared the points after they fought out a 1-1 draw with United’s goal coming from M. Conlon while Marconi’s scorer was D. Slane. That has forced United back to tenth and the Stallions are still twelfth.

It was a bit different this time as the Tigers grabbed all the points with a 4-0 result thanks to goals from B. Strachan, F. Ballard, Mcbride, D. Krkovski and A. Taouil. They have moved up to ninth while the Wolves are still at the foot of the table.

Blacktown City started the day as the competition leaders on goal difference and they were up against seventh placed Blacktown Spartans who had pinched the first round points with a 2-0 result. City came to the fore on Saturday when they produced a solid 4-0 final score and that allowed them to hold onto the leading role while the Spartans are still seventh.
Bonnyrigg White Eagles were in second place on goal difference when the first whistle sounded and they had collected the first round points from eighth placed Sydney Olympic with a 5-1 scoreline. Bonnyrigg completed the double when they posted a 6-2 result this time around and they are still second while Olympic have tumbled back to tenth. .
Olympic were also due to meet the ninth placed Football NSW Institute after Olympic had registered a 5-1 victory last time the teams saw each other. However, it was very different this time as the Institute posted a 3-1 victory and moved up to eighth as a result.
Marconi Stallions arrived at this match in third position and they were 2-1 winners in the first round clash with fourth placed Sydney United 58. However, the accounts were squared this time when United came up with a 2-0 victory and that has left United at fourth while the Stallions have slipped back to fifth. Both goals for United were scored by C. Coskerie.
APIA Leichhardt Tigers kicked off this match in fifth position and they had taken the first round points from eleventh placed South Coast Wolves when they were 2-0 winners. The Tigers did it again when they registered a 2-0 result this week thanks to strikes from L. Browning and J. Koton. The Tigers promptly moved up to third while the Wolves are still eleventh. 
In Round 14 catch-up action APIA Leichhardt Tigers defeated the Football NSW Institute 4-0 with the goals in that match coming from L. Browning (2), J. Koton and M. Del Vecchio. The Tigers were 6-1 winners when the teams met last time.

This time around the Wolves pulled out all stops to hold the Tigers to a scoreless draw. The Tigers’ lead at the top of the table has been cut to five points and the Wolves are still eleventh.
Sydney Olympic came into this game in second place and they had accounted for twelfth placed Bonnyrigg White Eagles with an 8-0 result when the teams met in the first round. It was a lot closer this time but Olympic managed to take the points once again when they were 2-1 winners. That has left Olympic in second spot and Bonnyrigg are still twelfth.
Olympic were also due to face the Football NSW Institute who were placed fourth on goal difference. The teams had fought out a 1-1 first round draw but this time Olympic took all the points when they won 3-1. That has forced the Institute back to fifth place.

Competition frontrunners Blacktown Spartans had already claimed the title as Premiers as they were eleven points clear with two games to play while Blacktown City were sitting in second spot. The teams had fought out a 1-1 draw when they met in the first round and that is exactly what happed when they met this week. This result did not affect the position of either team.
Sydney United 58 began the day in third place and they had battled out a 3-3 first round draw with seventh placed Marconi Stallions. However, on this occasion the Stallions took the full ration of points with a 2-1 result. That outcome has forced United back to fourth and left Marconi at seventh. The goals for the Stallions came from Morris and M. Duarte while United’s scorer was S. Borthwick
In Round 17 catch-up action Sydney United 58 and the Football NSW Institute battled out a 1-1 draw with the goals coming from C. Zuvela for United and D. Alessi for the Institute.
