FFA NTC Challenge Update 2013

The 2013 FFA NTC Challenge has been in full swing as the AIS in Canberra has played host to a number of fantastic matches played out by some of the most talented youngsters this country has to offer.
Coached by former Socceroo Craig Foster and assisted by former NSL star Gerry Gomez, the Football NSW NTC side have yet to record a loss in the nation’s capital.
On Monday 2nd of December the side kicked off a 5-2 win over the Emerging Jets of Northern NSW with a hat-trick from Kosta Petratos and goals from Daniel Maskin and Jackson Bandiera. On the same day but a later kick off, the team recorded a scoreless draw against FFV NTC.
On Tuesday 3rd of December, Caio De Godoy scored the only goal in the side’s 1-1 draw against FFSA NTC while it rained in goals in the later kick off as FNSW NTC defeated FFNT NTC 7-0 thanks to a double by Maskin and goals from Bandiera, Petratos, Daniel Arazani, Kyle Comenti and Solomon Monahan-Vaiika.
The team had only the one game on Wednesday 4th of December as they defeated FW NTC 3-0 with a double from Peter Kekeris and a goal from Joe Caletti.
Thursday 4th of December saw the team record a scoreless draw against the QAS while they had a 1-1 draw against the ACTAS in the later match with Petratos scoring the only goal of the match.
While in the final Group match the FNSW NTC defeated FFT NTC 3-0 with goals from Kosta Petratos, Jackson Bandiera and Liam McGing scoring the goals.
There will be more updates on the final match against the FFT NTC with the Final played on the 5th of December and the winner of the NTC Challenge taking on the Allstars side on Saturday 6th of December.
