Football NSW was saddened to hear the news of the unfortunate passing of Futsal Life Member Wendy Thomas after a long battle with illness.
Wendy poured her entire heart and soul into the sport of football with the Mt Druitt Soccer Club but assisted greatly in the development of Futsal in NSW.
Wendy was involved with the sport of Futsal since the early 1980s and was a founding member of the Greater Western Sydney Vikings State League club.
Wendy’s passion for Futsal was infectious with her legacy no doubt living on as the sport continues to grow in Australia.
The service will be held on Monday 17th February at 1pm at the Pinegrove Memorial Park Cemetery and Crematorium, Minchinbury.
Football NSW would like to pass its deepest condolences to the Thomas family.
