Australian teams ready for AFF Futsal Club Championships
The East Coast Heat Men’s and Dural Warriors Women’s teams will both fly the Australian flag as they take part in the upcoming AFF Futsal Club Championships scheduled for Bangkok, Thailand, with the tournament commencing on the 21st of November and concluding on the 30th.
Both teams won the right to represent Australia after taking out the 2015 F-League Championship series respectively.
The East Coast Heat side will take on Malaysian side Felda United, Thai team Thaiport, Myanmar’s MIC FC and Vietnam’s Sanna Khanah FC in what will be a tough group for Jamie Amendolia’s men.
While the Warriors will face similar stiff opposition with Myanmar’s ACE FC, Thailand’s Asian Scholars, Malaysia’s Felda United and Vietnam’s Thai Son FC completing the group.
Football NSW would like to wish both teams the best of luck in what will be a great experience for both touring parties.
