Last Saturday 1st April, Club Presidents and delegates of the St George Football Association (SGFA), together with the SGFA, presented a cheque from proceeds of the 2016 Richo Cup to the St George Hospital Cardiology department.

The donation will be used for the purchase of an ECG machine, a vital piece of equipment used to assist in the management of people suffering from heart attacks and life threatening chest pain.

Thanks again to all the organisers of last years Richo Cup and to the people of our community for their support and donations for this worthy cause – helping to promote health awareness.

Footballers are encouraged to get regular health checks and prevent more tragedies from occurring both on and off the football field.

Thanks also to Forest Rangers U6 parents Belinda Tuckerman and Ben Smith who provided the photos for the day!

Don’t forget to book the date for this year’s Richo Cup on Monday 12 June 2017, Queens Birthday holiday!
